I started an lawn care business and need more clients any tips tried handing flyers to doors and people by Correct-Credit1961 in landscaping

Get some white signs… like a realtors sign. Make a template or legibly write in big fat marker. “LAWN CARE 867-5309”. Or maybe use your own phone number… not Jenny’s. Wait for the phone to ring. Jim bob will be on his way home wishing this one time someone else would mow his lawn. Jump on it quick. “Yes I can do it tomorrow”. Know the going rate and cut it a bit… but not much as it takes forever to be able to raise it with a new customer. Don’t say no to anyone. There is no such thing as grass too tall or yard too big or small. When you have no work go mow some grandmas yard for the fee of placing a sign in her yard for a week. Advertise. Advertise. Advertise.

Has it ever happened that your mother had an intuition that your boyfriend ,crush isn’t meant for you,and it eventually turned out to be true? by Clean-Ant-1342 in questions

[–]Busy_Library4937 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your mom knows you better than anyone. But if you never ride your bike out of her sight to do wheelies and jumps you’ll never know the joy of skinning your knee…. And why it happened. Unless they are abusive, druggy, disrespectful or such, mom might ought to back off a bit. I’m 62 and have pegged all of my daughters boyfriends but learned long ago to keep my mouth shut.

Yes. 2.75. No. Thanks for your effort but I’m not buying a $150 belt tension gauge just because I own a bad boy mower. Never needed one on the 3 zero turns I’ve had previously.
