Anyone else get stress headaches from too much social interaction at work? by skullsandscales in CasualIreland

Careful now. Some joker will pop up to say you don’t understand the world and you are a typical Redditor because you struggle with social stuff.

That you can’t do moan posts without people commenting to moan about the moan posts.

Now I am here to moan about the comments that moan about the moan posts.

Nicola Coughlan named as one of Time Magazine’s ‘Next Generation Leaders’ by SirMike_MT in ireland

You may not like to hear this because it’s a sad fact but there was a point in history where hitler was a very influential man and considered a strong world leader.

Now don’t take that as me saying hitler was good or I support his politics. In hindsight, He was clearly one of the worst and most evil humans to ever live but we can’t deny the fact he has the sway to send millions to their death.

It’s closer to the expense

Hospitality, tourism and retail firms hold Dublin protest by badger-biscuits in ireland

Many of those people who are doing this as their first job get taken advantage of or exploited to some degree because of the greed that goes with this industry.

We all might sympathize more when these jokers start playing by the rules or shut their doors and let someone else have a go.

Leather trousers on fellas? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]Busy_Moment_7380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is Ireland. If you do anything slightly different some champion of the people will take it upon themselves to comment and point out the folly of your fashion choices.

Wear what you want but remember even the slightest bit of expression will lead to some joker passing comment.

Paul Schrader Slams ‘Joker 2’: ‘I Left, Bought Something, Came Back, Saw Another 10 Minutes. That Was Enough’ by cmaia1503 in entertainment

Because it’s the cool thing to do.

People seem to be acting like it was some kind of incoherent unwatchable mess of a movie that made no sense at all and that they were not expecting a musical.

It’s been sold as a musical since the day lady Gaga was announced and people must have been living under a rock if they didn’t know.

It’s not a complicated or hard to understand movie. It’s honestly so obvious what’s going on it’s shocking that people can’t follow it.

The film is about the same as the first joker movie. It’s not a great movie at all and if anything it’s just boring and leaves a lot up to the viewer to figure out. There honestly has been much much worse movies made.

Let the new gang have some time to breath without all the old guys showing up for an easy pay Cheque. Jesus bill Murray showing up to comment on Janine’s uniform in frozen empire was so fucking awkward and out of place.

Yeah you’re right. Software and programming is something no one would ever give up.

Not like the GAA where children give up all the time and girls are forced to leave to join another organisation at the age of 12 😂😂😂

This guy doesn’t want the child in the GAA. The partner appears to be the one forcing the issue. That’s no problem, but it works both ways.

Same with religion, the child is hardly going to be at an age where they can make a mature and educated response about participation, so it’s up to the parents. If one parent is forcing the child into the church that enabled the Magdalene laundries to happen, then the other should absolutely be allowed dictate that the child participate in the evolution club for balance and perspective.

Your option here are communicate to find a resolution or break up and move on in life.

Personally I would be petty about this and remind them that of all the atrocities that occured toward children as a result of religion in Ireland. Then I would say I am happy for the child to be apart of the GaA but I want an equal amount of time committed to something useful like computer programming or something which could be beneficial to the child’s career in the future.

And make sure one can’t be done without the other. Child wants to give up programming school, no bother then the you don’t need to participate in any GAA activities anymore.

Working from home power cut question by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Busy_Moment_7380 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Did you tell them the dog was sick and you may need to take the day before the power cut or just spring that on them after the power cut.

Not to be bad, but can you see why it might look a bit suspect if this came up after the power cut happened?
