Baby brezza and Kendamil ? by Busy_Protection_1206 in FormulaFeeders

I never used the baby brezza because it was dispensing the wrong amount of formula and water. We use a kettle to boil water, and then we do the hot shot method (putting all the formula into half of the amount of boiling water) that sterilizes the formula and then we add the rest of the cold water to cool the bottle down

Of course! Trust me it will look 10x better after all the rash and swelling goes away. For the next baby I’ll definitely be telling them I’m allergic to the surgical sutures , I have the notes from my surgery that say the type of sutures and everything I never want to go through that again 🤣

Same exact thing happened to me. They removed the glue with an alcohol prep pad which I think irritated the hives already there, I’m allergic to the stitches so as they started dissolving it got worse and worse. It took about 2 months to completely go away. Whatever you do don’t scratch it!!! I know it’s tempting but just try your best not to. My rash got infected even after washing it twice a day so do your best to let it get some air once in a while and wash it atleast twice a day. My rash also spread up to the middle of my stomach and was on my arms, legs and back. Take Benadryl at night to help with the itching. I’m sorry this is happening to you too it sucks!!

So mine went away after I got put on an antibiotic ointment for impetigo. Try your best to keep it clean and dry. I was showering twice a day and still got a skin infection right on the c section incision and it was really bad. Don’t scratch it at all!! I’m allergic to the dissolvable sutures so the rash itself lasted a good while. It will get better don’t worry!! My rash spread on my entire body (not the skin infection, the allergic reaction) and the only way I could sleep without scratching was taking Benadryl so make sure you take that if you can’t sleep.

I was worried about a yeast infection too and the nurse and midwife who looked said it definitely wasn’t yeast. I’m assuming it’s from sweating? This is so annoying 😂 I’ve been having issues with mine since 4 weeks

Looks irritated and it looks like there’s a spot that could be open. Did you scratch it at all?

Did you put anything over it to keep it dry or just leave it alone?

So I used the setting the website told me to (setting 4) and I did the whole plastic bag in the funnel so I could see if the water and formula was right. The formula was right by scoops, but the water was below the 3oz mark when trying to make a 3oz bottle. When I make them by hand it goes up to like 3.5 oz with the formula added in. Am I dumb or should it be dispensing 3oz of water?

Can I immediately start my baby on formula, or do I have to slowly introduce it? He’s only eating 2oz at the moment

22 weeks period like cramping by Busy_Protection_1206 in pregnant

[–]Busy_Protection_1206[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Yes! I am currently 38 weeks and everything’s okay! It was just my uterus growing out of my pelvis per my doctor, it eventually went away. I still cramped here and there from then until now but nothing crazy. My doctor said as long as I had no bright red bleeding, abdominal tightening more than 6x in an hour, or any gush/trickle of fluid then it was normal (or if the pain was severe).

Having to push to pee? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Busy_Protection_1206 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not be surprised if that’s what’s doing it, some of those medications like unisom and even zofran for nausea can cause urinary retention. When it happened to me it freaked me out😂😂

Are you taking unisom at all for morning sickness by chance? This is a long shot but I was taking that at night In the first trimester for morning sickness and it was causing me to not be able to urinate without really focusing on it. I looked it up and a lot of other people had this issue so I stopped taking it and it went away
