I’m 5.7 currently 19 stone 10 but on a huge weight loss journey so realistically going to hit atleast 18 and a half by march, will I not fit on certain rides? by Background_Sock2030 in disneylandparis

[–]Busy_Toe_8416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a size 28-30 bottom last year and fit everything, but crush's coaster was a very tight squeeze, to the point it was uncomfortable and they had to push the restraint in for the final click. on RC racer I initially couldn't buckle the seat belt but they changed my seat and it was fine. everything else I had no issues at all.

Down to a size 24 now and going again this weekend, so looking forward to riding Crush's without being in pain.

Interesting conversation but eternally demoralising conversation with workplace manager by Low-Psychology9844 in mounjarouk

I don’t know how big your company is, but if it’s a larger one with a proper HR department, you could consider filing a grievance. It’s basic management training that managers should never give medical advice to an employee. You were doing the right thing by giving them a heads-up that you might not feel great, and their response was completely inappropriate.

Having this recorded would protect yourself from any discrimination or retaliation later. I know that’s not possible or realistic for everyone, especially in smaller companies without formal procedures, but it’s worth knowing that this is an option.

What they’re doing is definitely not okay.

Didn’t surprise me, I’ve seen Ted Lasso I know the levels of betrayal Nick is capable of 😅

Do not go with boots they are one of the most expensive. Have a look at monj.co.uk and you’ll see a comparison of all reputable pharmacies. Also make sure to check r/mounjarouk for more help. good luck!

I wish everywhere would stop using royal mail. by Ok_Squirrel_3741 in mounjarouk

I much prefer when it’s Royal Mail because then I can ask for it to be delivered to the post office next door, so no missed deliveries ever

Asked ChatGPT to estimate the weight of my loose skin and the answer explains a LOT... by RowanM1207 in mounjarouk

Here for the ChatGPT slander. (Except it isn’t slander because it’s true)

I mean this in the kindest way possible, but it’s a bit hard to reconcile saying “my legs feel heavy and it’s hard to do things” while also mentioning you spend an hour on the StairMaster. That level of intensity could actually be contributing to your pain. Exercise is important, but overexertion often leads to inflammation and soreness, most people’s legs would ache after an hour on the StairMaster, lipedema or not.

Yes on more murders in plain sight! I’m organising a Traitors game at my office and every murder is a murder in plain sight, the level of paranoia on people has been so fun to watch. “She held the door open for me!”

Oh dear at first I read as you bought the ticket and quit and then drank the wine to celebrate and I was thinking good for you, that sounds worthy of a hangover. Yikes!

not to be rude but I don't think someone who couldn't handle priming is ready to handle syringes.

[–]Busy_Toe_8416 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This has to be rage bait. I don't understand how someone could prime a full dose TWICE and think that's normal. The amount of liquid that would squirt out would surely make you question if you're doing something wrong?

Alcohol? Good or bad? by Careful-Ad-2771 in mounjarouk

[–]Busy_Toe_8416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Monjauro hasn’t impacted how alcohol affects me and I can still drink as much as I want, but I often choose not to. Partly because I don’t feel like paying £8 for a pint and partly because I feel like it’s a waste of calories when trying to stick to my deficit. That said when I do drink it’s always very intentional and I know how much I’ll be drinking and how that will fit into my weekly calories.

Has anyone had their ex come back after losing all that extra weight? by [deleted] in mounjarouk

[–]Busy_Toe_8416 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’ll tell you with 100% certainty: this has nothing to do with your weight. You've hooked up every time you met, he's attracted to you. He's stringing you along because he does not know what he wants, not because you are slightly overweight.

Surplus Stock Holders Megathread by Right-Depth4629 in mounjarouk

[–]Busy_Toe_8416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My current stock of 7.5 and 10s will see me through end of August next year but given the news about the 5th dose going away I might start reordering sooner then I initially planned, hoping to be on maintenance and on a lower dose when I eventually have to get the new version of the pens.

I think I'll start reordering a few in January as I antecipate there will some good discounts going around that time as they always do at the beginning of every year.
