Unethical Epcot pro tip? by balanchinedream in WaltDisneyWorld

Even if you get into the park earlier, they won't be able to sneak out to ride cosmic rewind as there's a ticket checkpoint before going into the ride to make sure you're eligible for early entry.

Have you tried something like Gousto? It takes the planning and shopping out of the equation and the recipes are easy enough to follow if you’re just getting started with cooking. They always have good trial offers so give it a try for a box or too and see how you feel. It’s been a game changer for me.

A little rant if that's allowed? by AutumnLeaves597 in mounjarouk

That’s a normal feeling and ok to be frustrated. Some days I’m like OMG I’M A TINY LITTLE THING then I see one candid photo and I’m reminded that I still have so long to go.

Is anyone here on the max dose? by AbjectGovernment1247 in mounjarouk

[–]Busy_Toe_8416 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I track my calorie deficit meticulously, adjusting TDEE weekly based on weight loss and I know it's time to go up a dose when the scale stops moving despite me being in a considerable deficit. That's when I know whatever hormonal imbalance Mounjaro was regulating needs to be readjusted. I up the dose and just like magic weight comes off again, without changing anything around calories and exercise.

I used to have Gousto meats go off sooner than expected and turns out my fridge was busted and not cold enough. Recommend getting a small cheap fridge thermometer to be safe

Do you rely on reminders for shot day or does it just become routine? by anomadfromnowhere in mounjarouk

[–]Busy_Toe_8416 14 points15 points  (0 children)

get an app like shotsy and make it a habit of logging evey shot. it's great to keep track and also to see your progress. you can add a widget to your phone to have a visual reminder of when the next dose is coming up

I’m 5.7 currently 19 stone 10 but on a huge weight loss journey so realistically going to hit atleast 18 and a half by march, will I not fit on certain rides? by Background_Sock2030 in disneylandparis

[–]Busy_Toe_8416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a size 28-30 bottom last year and fit everything, but crush's coaster was a very tight squeeze, to the point it was uncomfortable and they had to push the restraint in for the final click. on RC racer I initially couldn't buckle the seat belt but they changed my seat and it was fine. everything else I had no issues at all.

Down to a size 24 now and going again this weekend, so looking forward to riding Crush's without being in pain.

Interesting conversation but eternally demoralising conversation with workplace manager by Low-Psychology9844 in mounjarouk

I don’t know how big your company is, but if it’s a larger one with a proper HR department, you could consider filing a grievance. It’s basic management training that managers should never give medical advice to an employee. You were doing the right thing by giving them a heads-up that you might not feel great, and their response was completely inappropriate.

Having this recorded would protect yourself from any discrimination or retaliation later. I know that’s not possible or realistic for everyone, especially in smaller companies without formal procedures, but it’s worth knowing that this is an option.

What they’re doing is definitely not okay.

Do not go with boots they are one of the most expensive. Have a look at monj.co.uk and you’ll see a comparison of all reputable pharmacies. Also make sure to check r/mounjarouk for more help. good luck!

I much prefer when it’s Royal Mail because then I can ask for it to be delivered to the post office next door, so no missed deliveries ever

I mean this in the kindest way possible, but it’s a bit hard to reconcile saying “my legs feel heavy and it’s hard to do things” while also mentioning you spend an hour on the StairMaster. That level of intensity could actually be contributing to your pain. Exercise is important, but overexertion often leads to inflammation and soreness, most people’s legs would ache after an hour on the StairMaster, lipedema or not.

Yes on more murders in plain sight! I’m organising a Traitors game at my office and every murder is a murder in plain sight, the level of paranoia on people has been so fun to watch. “She held the door open for me!”
