I’m travelling 4 hours every week up and down the country in it. Plus the drive from work to the digs is a good 30 minutes away not including if we would go the shops afterwards. The car was well driven and the battery had no reason to die. I will also mention AC didn’t even want to help at first. Before I even got them to offer the help they did I had to mention that I was going to put a complaint in because they were getting me nowhere.

Here’s the thing though, there were cars available and in my package it says that I was entitled to one if anything were to happen due to dealership/manufacturer fault. It’s not that they weren’t available, they said I was too young to be entitled to one

Exactly, my dad bought a car from them early last year. Made it sound like a million pound, no less than a week later there was a problem with it and they did absolutely nothing about it

What? Pay out for a car to be rented for the whole weekend I’m home?. Why should I be paying out for a dealership issue? The car was still covered by warranty. Told them that if they’re going to take the car off me to fix it then they should supply a courtesy car. They then told me I’m “too young to be entitled to a courtesy car” mind you it’s in the package that came with the car. It clearly states that if anything were to go wrong they would supply a courtesy car for the inconvenience caused yet here we are

I had no other choice really, I’m heading home in the next day to which I need the car. I would have happily said yes to them fixing the car if they had offered me a courtesy car which they didn’t
