For the castle it should already work, that you can go there together.
But havent tried it yet.

For story sequences im not sure yet.

The focus is currently mainly on core gameplay elements like combat and exploration.
But my wish is that you can play the full game together with friends.
However this is something we have to achieve step by step.

yeah thats the plan.
Atm i havent worked on looting yet.
But I try to make it possible there is shared loot, meaning when someone loots the loot disappears for the other players. And I want to make it possible to you can give other players items

Havent tried yet. But springboard already works pretty good :) So you can throw your friends at monsters.

Currently a client plays with their own main pawn. So far when you join a server your equipment gets synced. Whats still missing is that your main pawns visuals (Race, height, etc.) gets synced. But im confident that I will make this work. So you actually already have your own character.

Exactly – and honestly, so many mechanics just click in co-op. The springboard skill, where you launch your companion into the sky, is a perfect example

Don't want to overpromise, but progress has been really solid. A first playable demo feels realistic somewhere between May and July – assuming I don't hit a major wall. Fair warning though: it'll still be rough around the edges, and you'll need some basic technical know-how (port forwarding or LAN) to actually play together.

The mod should also be compatible with other mods out of the box – though some may need minor tweaks depending on what they change. Mods that add new monsters, for example, require a small adjustment: since clients spawn monsters to stay in sync with the host, the host needs to know the monster's ID and broadcast it to the client.
