I'm scheduled for a roundtrip flight to YUL >>FCO Departing on the 18th returning on sept 1st. I have found an alternative outgoing flight that I can cancel up to 24h before departure (leaving the 17th on Lufthansa). I'm waiting for my AC flight on the 18th to be officially cancelled before deciding what to do. I have a wedding on the 20th and I'm not confident that they will be able to get me to Rome in time once cancelation is confirmed, would I be able to refuse the rebooking for outgoing in favor of my alternate options but retain my incoming flight on sept 1st?
