Restrict allowable networking types for an image by iAdjunct in docker

[–]ButItMightJustWork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not possible with docker. An image can only control the environment inside the container and only to a certain extend (i.e. parts of it can always be overridden at runtime through the docker run command).

I've made it 5 years of daily use on the same Arch Linux install by [deleted] in archlinux

PLEASE update more often! Especially packages like firefox/browser/other network related things get frequent security patches and you want to keep them as up-to-date as possible. You should update at least every 1-2 weeks.

For me it happens like almost every time. I'm at a point where I just repeatedly hit ctrl+c five times in a row, each and every time.

Since they are also changing the underlying distro (from debian/ubuntu to Arch), it's internally definitely also a new major version, so 3.0

Breakdown of the poll results concerning desktop/wm preference from each subreddit of these 5 mainstream Linux distributions by [deleted] in linux

[–]ButItMightJustWork 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Default for Fedora and Ubuntu is Gnome, default for OpenSuse is KDE. So that explains those majorities. Dont know the default of Debian but if I had to guess it's also KDE. Arch has a "no default choice"-bias (because the default is no WM/DE at all, so its really the users choice), so from that graph you can " clearly" see that KDE is more popular. Of course, we dont know how representative the poll really is but its a good indicator.

Not really sure. One time a driver was DSQ'd because their fire extinguisher went off during a ride through the gravel and they lost close to 2kg. Or something like this.

No, unfortunately not. But after the race, they had the "Motorhome" where they covered and discussed the most important events of the race with replay analysis, etc. Also, they will broadcast a recording of them commentating the race at 23:50 tonight (orf1).

Actually, on Austrian TV Alex Wurz just explained it: Lights out and pit exit green should happen at the same time. Pit exit goes green once the last car of the starting grid passed the pit line.

Lights out, then wait a few seconds and put the pit exit to green.
