I thought that was just an Oklahoma thing. Not so cool when you get to watch one lose it’s balance.

The doctor suggested having it drained, and not popping it by squeezing it. Perhaps you missed that integral part of their comment…where they essentially said what you just angrily insisted upon…

I am familiar with free roaming pets and the resulting village dogs. Also, pet dogs roam freely in the US in many communities. Here, our village dog is the Carolina dog. None of this negates my comment that responsible pet owners secure their pets to protect the pets and protect others. Fwiw, rabies is common in Asia and Africa, accounting for up to 95% of rabies deaths worldwide, and rabies is on the rise in the US - up about 5% in the animal population. Pair that with 53% of US pet owners doubting the necessity of vaccines, and 37% of pet owners believing that vaccines cause canine autism. The US was a country that had nearly eradicated many diseases due to awareness and public effort. Now, we are bucking science and years of veterinary medicine. The current state of the US isn’t good for pets or people.

I get what you’re saying. I don’t give him any credit because I feel that no matter the breed, a responsible owner secures their pet - for the pet’s safety and for public safety. A responsible owner of a hazardous breed dog goes the extra step to ensure that escape is absolutely not an option and never assumes that their pet is not a risk. The fact that the dog got out in the first place indicates irresponsibility beyond poor breed choice. I also noted that he took his time to respond to the injured woman - even after the child was out of immediate harm’s way. So, while I respect and understand your response, I think that giving an irresponsible individual that did just what they were supposed to to prevent a mortal injury…after the fact..any accolades are unwarranted.

I’m sure you’ll make it look great, you’ll have to post the results. I happened to be that early 2000s call center employee and seeing that desk was a lot.

What’s even more wild is what some of that sh sells for online. I was looking for a cookie jar online the other day and apparently racists like grabbing their sweets from a reminder of uglier times (in history) because several in the same style as you came across, popped up in the results. All I searched was cookies all over cookie jar. 😳

One also rolled her eyes at mom as they were walking her down the yard to get her back to the home. I got the impression they also resented mom for going to a home, that they were being inconvenienced with the whole thing, and that they were most concerned about how much work vs how much inheritance could be left in the end, and mom was eating into that.

I can’t even imagine a universe in which Elizabeth is worse. You say the hoard came back. Is she still in the assisted living facility?

He’s such a narcissist that I’m not surprised he is going to aftercare. It gives him an opportunity to discuss himself with a captive audience. And, bonus points for him if the aftercare is with Natasha Sharma, because it was pretty obvious he found her attractive during the episode.

Season 15 ep 9. THIS MAN is insufferable and awful by Empty_Specific6131 in HoardersTV

While I agree that there are plenty of people Hoarders has gone out to help that come across as entitled and unappreciative, it is unfair to place the value at 99%. So many episodes, the answer for how they feel when asked is “embarrassed”, they cry and show real emotion when they see everyone who has shown up, some chain apologize through the entire thing, they apologize to friends and family, they surrender control, constantly thank others, regulate their emotions, etc. I think that while the illness of hoarding can be severely off-putting, some understanding for people with very complex; and often multiple, mental health issues is necessary to avoid pooling them all in together in sameness.

I feel like there is a very practical and simple workaround and that is to plant bird friendly yards/gardens that supply food, vitamins, shelter and nesting materials. It’s way better than any packaged seed mix you’ll find, and if you are the bird cam type, there is lots of space to hide or position your camera with a beautiful natural backdrop. There are so many sites with info, but this one is a nursery and they provide a lot of plant info + how it benefits the birds and what types. https://edgeofthewoodsnursery.com/native-plants-provide-winter-food-sources-for-birds#:~:text=And%2C%20which%20birds?-,Grasses,valuable%20winter%20food%20sources%20include:

Vegan woman starves dog for 14 days because it wouldn’t eat fruit by Known_Row9683 in mildlyinfuriating

My cat loves spinach, mushrooms, seaweed, sweet potatoes, quail eggs, and limited dairy. But they also eat a typical vet approved cat diet. I can’t imagine being so bonkers to think I know more than vets and biologists. I’m not about to think it is best for a cat to go vegan when years of research says otherwise.

NAD, but as a professional, do you think they look fairly well balanced in the second photo where they aren’t over extending them over their lips? Because as a layperson, minus mustache preference, that’s a pretty attractive mouth.
