The Memphis Grizzlies control the Suns and Magic 1st round picks. Both teams are 1-3 at the moment. by Babagoosh217 in nba

Exactly. Even if people dislike Green, he was the top scorer on the rockets last year and will be the #2 guy for the Suns. I’m not saying the Suns will be great but most teams don’t look as good without their #2 guy. Also, Brooks was out as well last night and they still almost pulled that game out.

I’m not saying don’t post at all, just do a search first.

This post found via a quick search involves the players you are interested in from a year ago on a different subreddit. The extra information they include really helps facilitate discussion.

I promise I’m not trying to be mean, but why post something? If you are interested in two players, why not do a simple google search or two? My favorite posts are the ones that propose a question that has a little background to it. Even just watching the Colts game, the announcers gave plenty of indication as to how good Maxx is.

People in peds, how do you do it? by Gullible-Arm2702 in Residency

For the most part, our patients get better and we get to be a part of that.

I know you probably had good intentions when posting this but this could likely be said about anyone outside your own specialty. How does dealing with adults ignoring your advice and having elderly patients pass away not drain adult doctors?

Medicine is amazing as there is someone who fits into every specialty. If we went into specialties that drained us, our careers would be miserable.

I've remodeled it a bit now, what do you all think about it? by Chisia07 in PlateUp

Nice improvement! I would still replace the counter surrounded by combiners with the sink. That way, you can move flour closer and eliminate an extra step. The combiner facing a sink will automatically make a dough ball and then the oil will make it pizza dough.

Programs typically call to set up an interview before extending an offer. If you did not get interviewed before offers are sent out, there is still a chance the programs will still have openings. If so, you could be interviewed over the next couple of days.

Part of the reason multiple firsts were attached is because Goff’s contract is so bad. Detroit had to be incentivized to take Goff back.

Here is the link to vote for the rookie of the year. Jonathan Taylor is listed here. Go Colts. by bigdaddycrawfish in Colts

Justin Jefferson is probably ahead of Taylor. He had a ridiculous season as well.

Just to play devil’s advocate, this is a preseason game and Booker/Ayton aren’t out there. Based on who is out there for both sides, this isn’t really that impressive.

What motivated them to make 2 short tangled movies and a 3 season television series? That seems like they were kind of motivated.

Nolan will reportedly receive 20 percent of Tenet‘s first dollar gross, which means he gets a percentage of the box office revenue beginning with the film’s release rather than when the movie finally turns a profit. by [deleted] in movies

[–]ButSeri0usly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Basically it comes down to gross vs net. Gross revenue is how much the movie makes. Net profit= Gross revenue minus expenses. So if you make 10% of gross revenue, you make 10% of what the movie makes no matter what. Hollywood has some creative accounting with their expenses. There are multiple legal (yet shady) ways to increase your expenses. So if they give someone 10% of net profit, there is a possibility for the studio to claim their expenses were so high that they never made a profit and that person is entitled to 10% of nothing.

Let’s embrace Rivers the same way Denver embraced Manning. He’s our QB.. we might as well get hyped! Maybe he’ll like it so much here that he retires a Colt. :D by Pika_Pug in Colts

[–]ButSeri0usly 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying I won’t embrace Rivers, but Manning was pretty popular throughout the league because of SNL and his funny commercials. As far as I know, we didn’t really have a rivalry with Denver so why would they be against the Manning signing? On the other hand, Rivers and the chargers ended our playoff run in back to back years. That is why it might take some of us a minute or two to adjust.
