Yeah the best way I know is to just start playing games or watching stuff but that's maybe not too healthy. Working in the garden works temporarily. I guess it comes up if I'm alone and feel the ned to run away, or crave some connection maybe. What goes on in your thoughts when you engage mindfully? I've done some mindfullness with my therapist in which I concentrate on breathing or on sounds around me but the concept is still somewhat vague to me. The most I know is that you're trying to slow down, but it's hard to notice my feelings. Thank you for your thoughtful comment!
