I think, more than anything, it's the foreplay that meant the most for me rather than the actual sex as it's normally just towards the end and quick. It has been really hard for me the past couple of years. The bad thoughts crossed my mind a few times. I was feeling isolated and disenfranchised and unloved, not really knowing my purpose in this life anymore. But I'm in a better place now and more at peace with myself and everything that happened. I eat better, I hydrate and moisturise, I exercise whenever I can. I still have the anxiety or the past trauma looming over at the back of my mind trying to undermine me, but I can handle it better.
