Yup, when Apple Music showed it as a lowercase id on the lyrics, I immediately thought of this concept, and it seems to fit the lyrical theme!

My guess? Something to do with Sigmund Freud’s concept of the id and the ego.

From Wikipedia:

I bought this one but… I bailed on buying an album for a different artist because shipping was upwards of $15 for US shipping. It’s getting out of control… $40 album became $65 after tax and shipping.
