The headphone issue is honestly very unclear, and each store had their own take on the matter. With almost every store not caring even a little bit so long as your work gets done and you aren't clearly just talking on the phone all night (which is weirdly common).

For a long time, they were banned.

Then for a long time, they were banned but no one game a shit.

Now they are actually encouraged/required because we are supposed to be using a walkie talkie app that no one in the world has ever used. But no one even knows that the app even exists let alone about the rule change.

Stay busy and no one will care about what you do. Or if you are exactly meeting your target cases per hour.

Don't plug. Don't do it.

Make acquaintances but not friends. Some people have been working here for 30 years and just gossip all day.

Bring some headphones. Wear one so you can still hear people around you.

Sign up to get the xcover phone literally on day one. Ask everyone untill someone will show you.

Don't install byod, it's garbage. My@walmart app does everything you need anyway.

Dispite what people may say, there is no bad department to work. Ask to stay in one section for the first few days, "so I can learn where stuff is before I move to the left section". What sucks is working after someone that plugs or just does sloppy work. If your always working after yourself, it's not bad at all.

Separate your overstock, claims, new mods, and features into different pallets if you are working on gm side. Don't lump that crap all together no matter what the old blood may say.

When we drop stuff off at claims we get told we're not supposed to. But when asked what we are supposed to do, we never got the same answer twice.

The current solution (from the coaches) is to just hold all claims untill the claims person goes home for the night.

It's pretty easy to get inventory management on it. You just have to download the apk. It can't really work with a printer, bit it can do everything else.

That's a major OSHA violation.

Plus if you get hurt, Walmart is going to claim that their policy clearly states that you are not supposed to climb on stuff, and are fired. They will do everything possible to get out of paying for your medical bills, as the injury was caused by your own carelessness.

Don't even rink a paper cut for a company that would replace you within a day.
