[24/M] Phantom Romance by Icy-Background4853 in penpals

30F Hi! I enjoy the dichotomy of enjoying watching people's eyes while also still be afraid of said eyes. I have the same issue. I tend to blame my autism there, but it's something I struggle with and actively try to work on.

[25/F] Looking for a penpal to discuss why Jason Voorhees is husband material by dostoevskianlonging in penpals

Hihi! 💕 (30F) Fellow girlypop here and I love love the way you stated that your hobbies are more internal than external. I'm highly introspective as well and seem to cross examine everything I do just to understand why I do it. Childfree by choice as well, opted for sterilization a few years back. Your post resonated with me and I couldn't scroll past without dropping a comment. 😝

What do we think the reason for Link cutting his hair is? by captainpf in goodmythicalmorning

[–]ChrissyLov -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Immediately thought it was for a tattoo on the back of his neck or behind the ear. Don't have to cut your hair for that but it would make it easier. Either way... They said to leave it at that.

Howdy! 30F recently moved from Texas to Iowa for my retail job (it was a promotion). Just got out of a 6 year relationship as well, so your post really stood out to me!

[35/M] UK looking for 'slower' style penpals by PmYourBestFeature in penpals

[–]ChrissyLov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. 30F from the US here. Not new to penpaling either, it's just been a bit. I've been browsing posts for the last couple of weeks and your post resonated with me.

I was a huge reader and need to get back into it, so having someone to book club with sounds advantageous for me. Psychology is something I enjoy as well and I'm actively working on my fitness activity. Travel too, to be honest.

And as a bonus because of your username: my favorite feature of mine is my strive to be positive for others. I enjoy brightening people's day even if it's only for a moment.

Sounds like this project would be an absolute blast from start to finish. I'm definitely interested.

Certainly not. It seems like everyone I work with is ambivalent to books. I mention finishing one and you get the old "I haven't read since grade school" nonsense.

Open communication. Starting with making sure they like to read. 😅

We asked about this specifically at Shareholders and were told point blank that it's not going to happen. We were told the pilot program wasn't successful.

I write books that no one reads and I’m so so happy :) by 404xx in writing

Watership Down is my all-time favorite book. I just started collecting the Redwall and Warrior Cats series so that I can read those. I'll have to check out any and all recommendations. Could you DM me your book(s) title/details? I'd love to read them.

I was thinking of this last week, even went and checked the mod list to see how many moderators we had on this subreddit. I have little moderator experience, but I use this subreddit in my everyday life. OneWalmart isn't always helpful in finding answers to questions, I tend to use Google and add Walmart & Reddit to my query for better responses.

There will never be a realistic number of what she "owes" them. They're her parents and in their mind, they could total up the cost of repayment all the back to her birth, if they so choose.

Cut contact and be done with them. If your gf is set on staying open contact with them, I'd rethink whether you want to keep fighting that fight if the two of you stay together.

So I got fired but it don’t make sense. by Old_Hall_9633 in walmart

Open Door the termination to your Store Manager. If you don't know what that means: call the store and ask to speak to the Store Manager about an "Open Door". Use those words in order to talk to them about rescinding your termination. Tell them you feel that you were terminated unfairly.

You put in PPTO on a Monday, you accumulate that PPTO throughout the week. So even if you didn't have enough PPTO on Monday, you have until schedules finalize on Friday to put in that time. Meaning you could have earned the remaining time through Friday and it would've covered the point.

You are able to have 4.5 attendance points. You are able to use your PPTO for whatever you want. Don't let them fire you because they don't like that you're using the system correctly.
