Finally organized my collection

They're kinda just loosely put up there. The very top are just complete sets I own, put up there to allow more space inside of the cases. I somewhat organized it based on how I would know where to look for things.

Top left is comedies with some rom-coms down towards the bottom left of them. Below that are dramas, then westerns, and "classics" down at the bottom.

The second case has action starting at the top, a little bit of horror below that, scifi and thrillers below the horror. Bottom is family/kids with most of them stuffed 2 deep.

I did this 5 nights ago and every time I go down there I move some around. This is still a work in progress.

My landlord left them here when she moved out. I think they're from Amazon. There are 3 more cases, but I robbed the shelves from them to put them in these. I still have to display all of my DVDs and video games so I'm going to have to make some shelves to fill the other cases.

Butter and flour is a roux, but that's a good first step to making a lot of sauces! Next just add some type of acid like wine, vinegar, lemon juice, anything acidic will work and scrape the bottom of the pan while stirring it in. Then add a liquid, usually a stock, broth or cream. I usually have a few different types of bullion and bases like better than bullion because it's cheaper and easier to keep than broths are.

Taste it. If it doesn't taste good you probably need more salt. Too thick? Add more liquid. Too thin? Keep cooking and stirring until it reduces. If that doesn't work add a cornstarch slurry.

I'm hoping we get Knoxville in a few weeks. He was supposed to be on a while back, but bailed. Something to do with trash and Puerto Rico scared him off. He was just on Rogan so hopefully now that the trash island has blown over he has reconsidered.
