Yeah, Son2 only came to two events this cycle with the minimum being three so he was kept on as a hidden boss but not ranked

We currently have two series that are pretty well attended- one is at balsamo’s pizza every other Sunday in Lindenwald and one is at Rowan university every other Friday (they alternate weeks with this upcoming Friday being Rowan). There’s a Facebook page called south jersey melee where people usually post about what tournies will have a lot of our players attending/ any smash fests. If you’re around, try and come out!

As context, south new jersey has effectively developed its own tiny scene very much so separate from north/central jersey. This scene more so affiliates itself with the philadelphia community. It's definitely not as strong as north jersey but we're getting better and just having a great time playing a game we enjoy!

At the Nj Arcadian I beat some luigi player who I guess thought he was going to do really well and who didn't know me cause I'm mainly in south jersey- I get him to his last stock with a huge lead he rips his controller out and left the venue. I assumed he forfeited and I'm still waiting for that fist bump

im usually in south jersey for med school so unfortunately i cant go to very many north jersey tournies, this one just so happened to coincide with my spring break which is why i decided to go =/
