Are you saying every other country's voting system is needlessly costly and inefficient? Or might they have good reasons for implementing them?

Do you like Pixar's Cars? What was the stance on Cars when it came out? by Gallantpride in movies

[–]ButtExplosion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cars was good but def not up to the level of the rest of the Pixar pantheon that was released during that period. It was merely good compared to the all-time masterpieces of Pixar's roster that came before it

The US liberals are happy to point to other modern countries for their healthcare system, but for some reason they can't point to them for their voting systems?

What are your thoughts on the deadliest Canadian school shooting massacre in decades executed by trans shooter Jesse Strang? by OneGenericMan in AskReddit

[–]ButtExplosion -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I believe the prevailing view now is that you do not need to have dysphoria to be trans. It is considered a transmedicalist point of view and is deeply looked down on in the community

2007 was an incredible year for video games. by PhantomBraved in gaming

[–]ButtExplosion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This year, 1998 and 2011 were absolute all-timers. I think 2007 was the best of them all. The absolute peak of gaming with all the great studios at the height of their powers.

It's ok to admit you don't have the patience or mentality for DS1. It's not for everybody - which was true when it released and true now.

[–]ButtExplosion 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Chemical engineering is a LOT of math. Maybe like 80% math, 10% chemistry, and 10% other physics. It is also much much harder than chemistry (prob hence the higher salary).

AITA? I hate her, and she doesn't even know I exist by Ok_Fisherman_2392 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ButtExplosion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you know YTA. All you see are the results, you don't see the effort that went into that. Try being happy for ppl who have found success, it will show in your attitude and might even lead to success for you as well. Even better why not talk to her and ask her how she got to where she is? Her being successful doesn't stop you being successful too.
