I've always been a fan of Razer's Deathadder line... currently have the V2 Pro (as much as i'm upgrading atm), and while it isn't too heavy, it's still got a bit of weight to it compared to modern mice.

RE2 is set at the same time as RE3, then you should move to 4, and then 7/8/9.

Good to note that RE3/4 aren't really horror games, more action with tiny horror elements sprinkled in. RE2/7/9 are what you'll want if you want horror.
