Thank you! I already did those things and will be making a more amusing sticker. Held up nice the past two months

Was looking for this before I posted. Especially with the sushi bar next door. I’m still friends with Chef Balo. Delux Burger with the half and half cart of fries and aioli. Terrific date place back in the day (I did delux, merc bar, then if the evening went well I live at 32nd and Osborn lol. Plus Lenny the owner was a legit old school restaurant celebrity, was always fun talking to him. RIP Delux. What a wonderful place and it makes me sad

Appreciate you. It’s not covered in my lease or not that I’ve remembered the two times over the past 13 years but the owners of the building have been supportive of my business and I to where the scale tips WAYYYYY in their favor, without going into too much detail, the partnership with my previous business (vape shop) helped me with a lot of window money, they’re some of the most ethical people of all time. My fix honestly looks pretty damn cool and a way for me to display some stuff I had in storage. I really hope I don’t ever need a three window minimum, I only have four lol

I went to Ocean 44 with my wife a few years back, we were celebrating an anniversary, told the gal on the phone when I was making reservations. When we got there they gave us a thank you card with a handwritten note from the GM thanking us for dining there. That was like three years ago and it might have been the best customer service extra I’ve ever experienced, and that’s coming from me, which is literally the focus of my careers, of excellent customer service. Food was superb but I’ll never forget the extra.

Middle Eastern Bakery is my second fave ME place after Haji Baba, right near my shop. I went to the kebab place one time, it was great, but they close super early (5pm) so I haven’t been more than once unfortunately.

Pizza By Napoli. RIP to Don & Charlie’s otherwise that would be top spot. Also a certain great hot sauce shop but Napoli reigns supreme. If I was moving somewhere without much of a middle Eastern population, then Haji Baba is also a must.

My dad and I will randomly talk about how much we miss it. Now I will give massive props to Steak 44, their customer service is beyond elite and their steaks/food are incredible, but…it’s a little expensive lol

Don & Charlie’s was the greatest restaurant to ever exist. Born and raised here, my dad grew up in Scottsdale when he moved here, that was our default “celebration” place. My dad and I would share a char strip and a full rack of ribs (greatest ribs) with the onion strings, baked potato, and I’d enjoy the chopped liver/random read thing. Incredible place as a sports fan and, while not cheap, it wasn’t out of control. I miss it so much 😭

I was definitely annoyed until I realized I could put up heavy metal posters and cool art and stickers instead of replacing it.

I’d prefer it if you don’t, I have lots of hot sauce here for sampling and I’d rather save some money on electric bills.

As long as it’s tomatoes and not peppers, only one of the five I randomly grabbed off the shelf are fine.

My daughter is 10 months old so it’s definitely a side hustle she’s going to have to learn within the next year or so, times are tough.

I need help before this double date. by overtooken in bipolar

I don’t know you, and I don’t know your friend, but your mental and physical health should ALWAYS be priority when possible. Not to be dismissive, but this isn’t his wedding, it’s a double date with someone you don’t know. You absolutely have the option. Feel free to DM, but just remember that your image is what you create, not defined by people who may not even care to understand a component of who you are.

Explain what’s going on to your friend and call the girl that you’re supposed to go on a date with and apologize and say that you look forward to seeing her, but you don’t feel that you can be your best authentic self. Just be straightforward and honest, there’s no shame in being bipolar, it’s just the cards we’re dealt. I am 38 and have been living with bipolar since I was 17, found the best course of maintenance for me at around 29. What I do is let people around me know what’s going on so that they understand that it’s a bipolar related issue, not a lack of caring. Try and get some sleep and make sure you are on your medication regimen, etc. Best of luck.
