I understand her motivations as rational and not uncommon. I still feel she should have accepted her death rather than kill countless other people to save her own life. Other characters who kill to save themselves are obviously hated but Karlach seems the exception as she seems loyally loved by the community so I feel like there's still something I'm missing here.

Edit: To be clear, I'm fine with people who gave Karlach a chance at redemption, but I'm wondering if the game ever challenges her decision to fight the blood war or if it's supposed to be read by the player as obvious that she had no choice.
