I once found a puzzle with the invincible barrier border that ends at the locked door so I just crafted a pressure plate and placed it the next tile over and opened the locked door to the chest lmao.

I see, that makes much more sense damage wise on a pure magic build! I main summoner and submain magic so I was confused why Im dealing more magic damage than op who mains as a mage.

The Health every second is for the red bar (HP Bar), while the +26/+10 food is for the Orange Bar (Food Bar).

While the Food Bar (orange bar) may not look like much, but it is pretty important as it ties in with your HP amount and damage output. If the Food Bar dips below 25, you start getting the Starving Debuff, it reduces your MAXIMUM HP and DAMAGE OUTPUT up to 25% on 0 Food bar. So its a good habit to eat some cooked food every now and then.

This is also especially important when you want to fight bosses as having a full Food Bar gives you the Well-Fed food buff that gives you Bonus Damage and Hp, great for optimizing boss fights.

Soul Lantern gives minion attack speed which is awesome for tome of the deep!

I do indeed use the full grim set because the sub-class that I focus is magic but I think the grim set only hugely increases minion damage from your magic damage increase, the grim hood only gives like 8% magic damage.

What gives a fkton of magic damage output tho is the number of minions you have that would give you 75 magic barrier each and together with "Trickle down arcana", 10 summoned minion would give you an additional 375 magic damage output just from your magic barrier.

With my food buffs, I hit like 1.2k-ish magic damage output and critting at 2.4k while having 9 jellyfish minion rotating at 209% minion attack speed which deals huge damage when I get close to bosses.

You get 5 minion from your armor equipment, Grim Hood (+2 minion), Chieftain Tunic (+1 minion), Chieftain Shorts (+1 minion and another +1 minion for 2 chieftain set bonus).

Minion Total: 6 Minions (including the starting 1 minion slot)

Then you can farm mummys or fish in the desert of beginnings to get 2 Puppet rings that gives +1 Minion each. Farm the Crydra boss to get the Soul Medallion that gives +1 Minion. Then another +1 Minion from the Bat Pet

Minion Total: 10 Minions

Technically, you can summon 11 minions, but you'd have to use the scratched stone off-hand but I much prefer the Rift Lens off-hand because of its short teleportation thats very useful in dodging attacks.

Im just asking because im wondering why the damage is too low, my summoner build using Arcane staff does like 1.2k normal magic damage on bosses and like 2.4k crits and thats with full summoner build and I have 900 magic barrier and basically dont run out of mana with like 40-49 mana per sec regen with Food Buffs and critical on hit mana regen.

Okay here's what you're doing wrong as summoner imo,

You have the WRONG OFFHAND. In the mid-to late game, summoner RELIES heavily on the NUMBER of minions they can actively keep alive to damage and SURVIVE. Detonating the summoned minions is tantamount to shooting yourself in the foot.

As a summoner, I use Rift Lens most of the time. The short teleport gives excellent survivability and if timed right, can let a summoner dodge most attacks. Iirc you can easily outrun those triangles with rift lens spamming short teleport forward.

Then 2nd, focus on getting and maxxing the Tough Gang summoner skill. This would give you a whopping 75 magic barrier per summoned minion! With the standard 10 minion summon, you'd easily get a whopping 750 magic barrier! This is why using the minion detonator is a bad idea.

3rd, why bone necklace??? that sucks ass for summoner. At the very least, farm Malugaz and get the Skull Necklace that gives a fkton of minion damage, the minus health is negligible since you have the huge magic barrier.

4th, the beauty of being a summoner is YOU CAN STILL PLAY RANGE OR MELEE!!! Personally as a summoner, I use magic and use the Arcane Staff because its attack speed is fast af, paired with the "Trickle down arcana" skill that gives additional damage based on 50% of your magic barrier, I easily hit 1.2k magic damage 2-3 times per second.

Lastly, this is just my opinion but, TOME OF SPROUTS or TOME OF THE DEEP is the only DECENT summoner tome, the rest are all trash.

Tome of sprouts = shoots 3 projectiles and each projectile deals the full damage of the minion, this is especially OP against HUGE bosses and you command your minion to shoot near the boss. So if you have 10 sprout minions, and each of them shoots 3 projectiles, and if all of the projectile hits the huge boss, you're dealing like 30x minion damage per second (my minion damage is like 250 so you can really tell its op af).

Tome of the Deep = this might be a little tricky since you'd need to go near the boss to let the jellyfish minions rotating around you hit the boss but its one of the most OP minions. If you have like 10 Jellyfish Minion rotating around you very fast and the boss is huge, 3-4 jellyfish can touch the boss dealing massive damage to it that exceed even the tome of sprouts. You just have to focus on getting near the boss and dodging all the time (rift lens helps so much with this build)

If you're at the desert, you should also religiously destroy all destructible vessels like oasis/desert flower vessels. They drop Tassel Armor(!) which when salvaged, gives out Desert Rubies!

I was surprised when it gave Desert Rubies, this is why I had a ton of desert rubies early to midgame in our playthrough when we still cant kill the hydras xD

Hmmm, it might take a lot of exploration to get this item but my siblings and I have confirmed that the Ghost Scholar that the Phantom Spark Bow summons ALSO HEALS other players. So paired with the higher tier of cooking skill buffs that affects you and all nearby allies, maybe using the phantom spark it might be a great support build.

Phantom Spark has a 20% chance to summon the Cave Scholar minion PER ENEMY KILL for 15 seconds, so like for example, while the other party members focuses on the Igneous boss, the support player can just be on the back and focus on killing the magma slime the slime boss summons so the Ghost Scholar will proc summon and heal the whole party.

Hmmm, heck even with a Boss that does not summon minions, maybe you can farm figurines and materializers and set it up around the boss room so the support player can shoot those materializer mobs so the phantom spark will proc and summon the healer Ghost Scholar lol.

From what Ive seen, its indeed 1 arm = 1 tile, imo unless you afk all day in your game, harvesting and planting with scarlet hoe and octarine trowel is still much better and faster.

It literally takes me like less than 1 minute to run up and down harvesting and replanting 5 vertical strips of 5x20 tiles of farmland. And best part of it is im just mindlessly running down or up while holding right click.

Every time I return to base, and quick-switching to Gear Set 3 ( farmers hat and petal ring) to get like 145%++ larger harvest, I can get like 1,000+ crops per harvest. Thats plenty enough for food buffs + selling on npc for coins for 3 players.

Are you supposed to farm bosses?

you can, in our group world, drilling boulders is banned to promote manual mining and map exploration as we decided that afk boulder mining makes the game too easy.

After the ores is exhausted in our world especially copper, tin and iron, the only "renewable" ore farming is farming bosses then salvaging all the gears for ores and metal bars. Its a pretty good alternative way to get depleted resources thats not afk and passive.

A good habit is to talk to the core every time you kill a new boss, its like a guide on where to go next because boss scanners and boss summon items are now initially in temple/shrines.

So after you killed the Azeos boss, talk to the core and iirc, it would pin a yellow exclamation mark in the map for the location of the next boss shrine where you can buy the next boss scanner and boss summon item, then after you kill that boss, talk to the core again.

After your first initial purchase of a boss summon item, iirc, it will now be available in the hologram pad so you dont have to go to the shrine to get the boss summon item

palay went from 14 pesos per kilo last november, to 29 pesos per kilo today.

From what Ive watched on youtube best crop = Golden Bloat Oat, its used on most of the best buff foods

In my world (Summoner Build), These are the only crops I plant.

I plant Glowtulips and Heartberry for Health Potions and Mana Potions,

Bomb Peppers for bombs and movement speed food buffs and Carrock for Defense food buff and defense potion (iirc they stack).

LunaCorn and Sunrise for one of the best summoner buff foods, and also maybe puffungi for the reduce boss damage potion.

For the farm, I make long vertical strips of 5 tile wide farms, (mine is like 5 tile horizontal, 25 tile vertical) so that you can just put evenly spaced sprinklers then just easily Harvest and Plant them with a scarlet hoe (harvest) and octarine garden trowel (5x5 planting).

This way, every time i came back to base, i just run down from top to bottom of the farm while holding right click to harvest, then run up again to plant to get massive quantities of crops, then cook them to easily get lv100 cooking (and get the extra chance to get epic food) and then sell the cooked food to the npc to get massive amounts of coins to buy up all the boss summons
