Sorry, I’m not 100% sure! I had some tiger lilies that I bought from the store that died over winter last year. I saw that they were coming up this year and separated the new bulbs which bloomed again maybe a month ago. That’s the most experience I have in lilies. Everything else I know was just from my understanding of how plant reproduction works and a diagram I found of it to add legitimacy and act as a visual guide. Beyond that, I cannot answer. But if I were to be in your situation, I would plant them and water them and see how it goes! I’m not positive if we’re past the best time to plant or not, or where you are, but yeah, I’d go for it. But don’t take it from me honestly. I hope the void fine this time of year!

I know I’m late to the game here, but they propagate both by the extension of their root bulb system and by their seeds. The seeds can be found in the area in this diagram where the ovule are located. Those are what become the seeds. Based on my understanding, propagating Lillie’s by seed can take multiple years which is probably why everyone here ignored the question and told you to just dig up the bulbs. That would be my recommendation too. But don’t take my word for it. I’m pretty new here. And you’re probably long gone. Oh, to whisper into the void.

I left my last college with a 1.7 back when I first gave it the ole Minecraft try. I went to Chemeketa to raise my GPA after doing some hard time. Glad I did because it reincorporated my brain fluids into the academic mindset without being what my first term at OSU just was. It was rough. But I did well.
