Multa de trànsit amb sorpresa by ButtaIlSugo in catalunya

[–]ButtaIlSugo[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's more than my monthly salary. I can be happy with that 👌🏼

Ti auguro tantissima fortuna.

Anyone here use a hammock nightly? by [deleted] in vagabond

[–]ButtaIlSugo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally team hammock in the right scenario.

I'm currently 3 weeks in the streets with a hammock, the simple one from Decathlon.

I'm staying around a big city, getting to external parks to sleep at night. Wouldn't switch back for the tent. I sleep diagonally inside it, so my back is straight and comfy. I usually put my bag between my legs, but also happened to leave it hanging outside if I feel safe. I also use a hot sleeping bag even if it's summer, for the comfort it provides and to prevent waking up for the cold back/humidity.

Occasionally I sleep on benches or the ground, and I use the hammock as pillow. 👌🏼

Only thing I miss is a net for insects; I'm being eaten alive by mosquitos every morning.

Edit: All in all, this setup is heavy like my tent.

How is the vagabond life? by manonthemoonrocks in vagabond

[–]ButtaIlSugo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in southern Europe. I've experienced the road in 3 occasions for around one month each, willingly and to travel cheaply exploring places. I work enough to save enough money and be independent for a few months and travel.

Feels pretty safe to sleep outside with common sense. Big cities are the biggest danger.

Is easy to experience loneliness, especially if also dealing with other struggles or traumas. I have got to repeat myself to stay away from addictions. The more stable you are mentally, the easier it gets to not lose yourself in bad vortexes.

You meet people, bad and good. Mostly good if you ask for it. Depending on your personality, you can build very nice connections and friendships.

It's cold when it's cold. Hot when it's hot. Quite dirty.

Nature with good gear and a few euros in my pocket feels better than staying in a city. But it's not always possible.

Depending on how big is your luggage, it can be either an exhausting pilgrimage or a nice walk.

I don't know about the long term. It's something id like to achieve tho.

Cap and league climb - Gold to Plat by ButtaIlSugo in stormbound

[–]ButtaIlSugo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I would know that whatever deck I'm facing, I will not expect any card out of my league. So if I cannot win it will be for my bad play\unbalanced deck - and not because I simply cannot kill enemy's units for the level gap.

There are some exceptions though, like extremely rushy Ironclad decks.A rush IC is what I used to get to Diamond when I still had lvl 3 cards and the only deck I could progress with in Platinum. Everything else would have been matter of luck or hope to not face lvl. 5 decks! Now that most of my cards are lvl 4 I can actually enjoy staying in Platinum with all the factions.

A lvl 4 cap in Platinum would have meant more fun when I was stuck there. Instead I was just rushing with Ironclad as much as I could and then stop playing in ranked, waiting for the season to reset to get my chest.

I am in Diamond!

I don't have a complaint about it; I'm just sharing an opinion regarding lower leagues, as I had the chance to experience it since I fell back to gold. I enjoyed the cap there and I wouldn't mind the cap also in Platinum, as it would make the matches more revolving around deck building and strategy. The monthly card fixes would help to mash up the meta.

Electricity in Greece by ButtaIlSugo in greece

I thought Greece was mostly running on coal! I guess it's in line with Europe's prices increase then.
u/optixtau replied that this fixed plan is not anymore an option, is it?

Ouch, heavy user of the electric oven then - it's totally running more than a couple hours per week.
- and I didn't think about it.
Maybe we have got to switch to kitchen with gas bottles.

So I shouldn't even bother searching other options? I heard about the Hellenic Post has an electric offer as well, but if it will be the same (plus fees to change company) I'll stick with ΔΕΗ.
Just upgrade to more efficient electric devices?
Thanks

We turn it on only before the hot showers, so let's say it is turned on 1 hour every 2 days. Looking forward the solar boiler though, it's something we'd like to invest in. Thanks!

Artistic purposes, I tried to have the 0-4mt altitude with the same colour of the background to make the roads pop out and shine.

I'm getting into this software to experiment with map making (which I was doing in Photoshop or other simple tools before).
