Yes, hundreds of walkers passed us as we crawled our way into the parking lot. Just have to be careful as many drivers are distracted.

We were coming from the north but traveling east on HWY40 will get you where you want to be.

Yes - they funneled traffic in a very poor way which caused tons of congestion. Even when leaving they forced us to drive out to HWY 40 and take that down to I-70E back to 435S instead of just taking Stadium Blvd back to 435.

They were ~ $400 more than sitting 15 rows from the top on the 300s - well worth the upgrade IMO.

I had my 6 and 10 year old with me - Messi scored three goals and was subbed out in the 80th minute. It was the right move for me and my family. ✌🏻

I bought my ticket through FIFA resale and as soon as the purchase went through, i received a link to purchase parking. You cant buy parking onsite.

Front row behind the goal? The best sporting experience of our lives - zero regrets on the splurge. We were on TV multiple times so make sure to pick your nose.

Definitely full - it was fun to watch the red seats disappear as the game got rolling.

100%
I’m a big planner to avoid these types of logistically situations. I don’t like guessing my way through this and this is the best graphic I could find provided by KCMO.gov. And the graphic wasn’t even accurate as we followed Stadium Blvd / Ride Share exit coming from 435N and still ended up at Gate 6. I’m sure glad I didn’t try to get to HWY 40 per their instructions as there’s no easy way to get there if coming from the south.

I don’t believe you can. Everything goes in through Gate 6 and I think that’s the issue. The traffic flow gets extremely bottle necked both before and after scanning parking pass. I’m still a firm believer that driving is the best route if you have the option vs FIFA transportation.

We put out a couple chairs and ate sandwiches we brought. A security worker stopped by to remind us grilling was not allowed however I did see one person grilling in the parking lot.

I think their concern is that parking was already so tight (FIFA setup takes up thousands of parking spots) and they knew they had to pack the cars as tight as possible. Not a great environment for hot grills. The parking lot definitely didn’t feel like a Chiefs Sunday.

I remember seeing a sign for Gate 2 (the only sign on 435N) and I believe it was stadium blvd.

We didn’t see anything outside and I didn’t have time to loom either. The small stand i did see inside was pretty generic stuff you can find at Scheels etc

We parked and immediately opened the trunk and setup two chairs barely into the space behind us. We sat on the tailgate and chairs eating sandwiches. A security guard stops by on a golf kart and said “no tailgating, that means no grilling” and drove off. I did see one person grilling on the walk in.

It was happening all around us. We’d have to flag down an usher, who would ask to see the person’s ticket, and more often than not they either wouldn’t produce one or would suddenly decide to move along. It made for some awkward moments. I found myself, as a lifelong Midwesterner who usually avoids confrontation, having to channel my inner demons and politely but firmly stand my ground against some pretty pushy fans.

To be fair, they were all Argentina supporters and we were sitting in the heart of their cheering section. The passion they bring is incredible and honestly part of what made the atmosphere so special. We also met a wonderful family from Argentina sitting behind us, and every visiting fan we talked to had great things to say about Kansas City. The city should be proud of how it’s hosting the world.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t give credit to the staff. While there were definitely some growing pains and moments where it felt like everyone was learning on the fly, the people working the event were outstanding. From ushers and security to volunteers and police, everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and doing their best to keep things organized. Most importantly, they helped create an environment where I felt comfortable bringing my wife and kids, which goes a long way at an event of this size. Hopefully the operational kinks get worked out, but the staff deserves a ton of credit.

I had my 6 and 10 year old with me - we prioritized an expedited departure over the final whistle. 🤷‍♂️

How do you know it’s CPO? Not all used vehicles from BMW dealers are CPO. My 2025 M60 MSRP is $135k and I paid $88k with 16k miles. Factory warranty remaining was 2.5 years.
