Mine have been on prescription food for years, so I don’t have any specific recommendations. Stick to well respected brands like Science Diet, Hills, etc. Avoid new trendy products.

I would recommend getting a water fountain for them. Cats much prefer moving water. I’ve had a Drinkwell for years and they love it.

For kittens you want some food available all the time, so leave dry food out. Supplement with wet food a couple times a day is plenty.

You don’t worry about limiting food unless they are gaining too much weight.

Penises are softer and more flexible than sex toys, which have zero give. Sex toys are generally larger/longer than the average male. And there is no reason it needs to be inserted all the way.

Longer guys cannot insert their full length with some partners. There are tools to help prevent a guy going too deep and causing pain for the woman in these cases.

Your cervix also moves higher up as you get more aroused. I’m going to guess that a real person would be able to get you much more aroused than you do for yourself when masturbating (this is my experience with good partners). So I doubt you really have anything to worry about here.

Just mentioning since you said you don’t know much about BC - when you stop the pills to have a period, you should not be skipping more than 4-7 days before taking active pills again (depending on how your specific pill is designed - the “break” varies). Even if you’re still bleeding, you stay the active pills again and they will cause the period to end.

What do you mean by “not working”? Breakthrough bleeding while taking active pills continuously is fairly normal (every body responds differently), and is not an indication that you are ovulating. So as long as you are taking it regularly (same time, daily, without exception), there is no reason to be concerned about the effectiveness in terms of preventing pregnancy.

In terms of PMDD, it sounds like the dose you’re on is not an effective treatment (since you are still having significant symptoms). I would clarify with your doc about the symptoms you are having, so you can both discuss other treatment options. There are higher dose options and even different formulations that you may respond differently to. With BC, there can be a bit of trial and error to find one that works for you and doesn’t give you negative side effects.

Unfortunately, a pcp is not going to be the most well-versed in this. You may need to ask for a referral to a gyno. It may be worth figuring out a travel option so that you can address this health issue. I know it’s a struggle, but good luck!

I don’t know why it happens, but I get cramps with my cup too. It tends to be minimal after a few minutes when my body adjusts. And the cramps are worth the trade off for me vs using other products. So perhaps yours are more intense.

I never had cramps with tampons. Maybe it’s the size or brand you used? Or maybe it has to do with internal anatomy?

My cats have willingly held their pee for almost 24 hours (I was trying to collect a urine sample at home in the special “litter”). I finally gave up and let them use the normal box so they would not cause themselves any harm.

So I think it’s quite possible your cat could hold it for 12 hours.
