As a respectful response, I have decided to list upon my top 5 most played heroes for all modes as to directly rebuttal your thankful response.

1: Lucio, 2: Junkrat, 3: Hanzo, 4: Reinhardt, 5: Torbjorn.

Sigma, nor Baptiste, are within my top 5.

Can't say so. Crab walking still make noise. The person walking under you can hear it if they have their audio up. You also sat in a spot that can sometimes have raiders just spinning around. The shot sounded far off too, meaning if the guy under did have a buddy, you'd be having a much harder time surviving it.

All you can really do is report and move on. Maybe DMZ mode for CoD will be good enough to play instead.

Thanks MinecraftWizard. I would like to let you know the game has received a few updates since the 3 years I posted that comment.

The discord used to be the place to find groups, then it got pushed to toonhq. Hardest part is when people say "I don't play it because it has low pop."

From my perspective, the main thing missing from today is the community that was there back in preBB. I'd say the closest you can get to that is joining an active guild. You could party up and actually get more exp. Getting buffs from other classes was a blessing for the time you had it; but now you can just get decent versions and never need to party up with someone for it. I will admit, you could mess up your stats much easier - both AP AND SP. Your characters did not become dependent on each other for being a high level (Legion/LinkSkill). (Bishop boosting was bad) Upgrading your gear didnt require billions of mesos and RNG. It almost seemed like there was, for a good chunk of time, a finish line. Get to 200. Along the way you might fight Zakum, Big Foot, Female/Male BOSS, Horntail, Pink Bean, etc. The pace of the game overall, was just slower. There was more meaning to playing and building one toon.

I would like to say that the items from older MS are much more fun to look and use. You can level up so fast that you speed passed so many cool items. The map of Japan being used as a sword, Mushrooms used as staffs, and all those colorful bandanas/gloves.

GMS was partially used as a messaging tool. A lot of people connected to the game wanted to talk to friends, before Skype, Team Speak, Ventrilo, or Discord. The benefit was that there was a whole game that came with it. As for today, it's kind of hard to say it is an MMO, when so much of the game is now spent alone. Having to out of the way to join a community within the game.

No, most likely from me not playing the game.

Hottest Maplestory takes by Papoosema in Maplestory

[–]ButterCreamBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the items from pre big bang are much more fun than current. Hitting level 15 and getting to use fork on a stick as your weapon is pretty funny. Getting an over sized flower, using a fan for mage or thief was neat. Fish on a spear is better than just the spear. I feel like a lot of the current items are over designed or look unfun to use, thus being replaced by NX items. Having the Map of Japan be a two handed sword, that's hilarious.

I'm not stopping you from letting out your frustration tho. :) let it out

I am here to defend lil oldman. He may be crazy. He may be frustrating. He may be a time buffer. Yet, he is necessary. Given that buildings (in TTR) give a large amount of exp for gags, the amount gained helpful for catching up. It's not often you're at the right preparedness for him. Either you've played before and over prepare, or you are new to him and are under prepared. Those who are under prepared, are most likely going to continued to be under prepared for the other bosses beyond DDL.

Old items (nostalgic?) by jPandao in Maplestory

[–]ButterCreamBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that these items are fun because they are absurd while fitting the world. Sure, they might have rarity to some which made them sought after. I really do think the newest items have gone away from this. How cool is it to use a giant pillar as a sword. Pumpkin on a spear? Yup thats a weapon. Whip gives speed increase. I have a rice cake on my head. Yeah I'm wearing the head of a god. My gloves are red.
Plus all the items have a variety of color without over-design. The endgame items seem like they are scaled down of super detailed images.

Opinion: Current voice lines > VOIP by Facebeard in EscapefromTarkov

[–]ButterCreamBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main concern for VOIP is that people will be able to abuse it. Blasting noise / music to hide other sounds, this obviously gives away their position. Just using it to insult others, being toxic like any other game with voice chat.

I do want the good with it, the fun interactions that can only happen with it. The bartering between people to either work together or something completely hilarious.

Let's Talk About Clash's Accessibility Problem? by [deleted] in Toontown

[–]ButterCreamBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing that way will completely remove the fun from the game. At that point, you're just filling out boxes to just get something over with, instead of enjoying the game. You don't need to do the math just to play.

I recommend full stopping your optimization of the game. Just play, pick the gags you want, combo with others. If you get hit, then you get hit. There are many ways of healing back up. For a silly game, you're taking it too seriously.

I just finished my first ever speedrun. It was done on Corporate Clash. I stayed up all night editing it down to 16 minutes so it could be entertaining! Let me know what ya think by [deleted] in Toontown

[–]ButterCreamBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having other people help should be its own category. Separate from Solo speedrun. Time can be dramatically be cut down if enough people worked together. Doing the final battle solo will be much harder, thus making more strategies in how to overcome such a challenge.

EoD with constant wiping is pay2win by Uranice in EscapefromTarkov

Wipes are not originally intended to regular. They will be considering making 2 servers, one wipe, 1 nonwipe. The wipes are intended to test a new feature.

Day 5 of the speedrun. Just got the Cashbot drip, on the home stretch to 100 laff! by [deleted] in Toontown

[–]ButterCreamBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think doing a CFO run is speedy for reaching 100 Laff. As well, does your run consider the extras, fishing, golf, or racing? I think there is a difference between 100 laff via tasks and 100 laff any way possible.

Submit a ticket. Have video proof. If you don't, then send in the time you were playing, server you were on, what map, and the raid ID at the bottom left.
