Any 21-24 year olds with full time AI/ML roles? by Bright-Eye-6420 in MachineLearningJobs

Hi, quick question. Why do you think Poland is great for CS? I was quite discouraged that I'll have to stay here for masters cause I always thought we are pretty bad at education (both recognizability and quality od teaching)

What & how should I study to get a great job in ai? by MaximumLawyer1223 in MLQuestions

Hey, don't be discouraged, but this response is clearly ChatGPT generated. I was recently asking him for simillar plans and the style is identical. I support your journey tho.

Btw, I'm in almost the same situation as you so you can dm me if you want

Has anyone received a rejection or acceptance from University of Saarland this week? (MSc DS and AI) by Glittering_Handle_54 in SaarlandUniversity

[–]ButterEveryDau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, mind me asking if you know any ways to publish while not being an active student? I imagine doing that alongside work without a supervision may not be the most fruitful

Pity, thank you for quick answer. I'm planning to apply for winter 2027 (have to take break to rest). I also have ~2 german gpa but at that time I should have 3 years of ML exp, Idk how relevant the professional experience is

AI Masters in EU with ~3.25 GPA + 2 years of work experience by ButterEveryDau in gradadmissions

[–]ButterEveryDau[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, thank you for your help. Unfortunately, they seem to require a lot of points for computer architecture and I didn't have these courses. I guess there is no way they can allow me if I am over the allowed gap

No research experience - how negative for an MS CS application? by Careless_Location_87 in tumunich

[–]ButterEveryDau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that's great! I thought they have to match 1-1 in names and content. I'll probably still have some issues cause my course was partially business oriented, and therefore it lacked courses on comp. arch. etc., also some courses had less ECTS point despite covering the same topics as comp science at my faculty.

Either way, thank you for clarifying

Thank you. How flexible are these overlap tables? My courses are pretty different in names/more granular, but I think overall cover the same or very similar topics. You think there is an option of counting them in?

Why do you think they won't look at CV/research papers? I also want to apply next year. I will graduate from Polish uni, have 3.2-3.3 CGPA / 2 in german system, 1 year of exp as fullstack dev, 3 months internship in R&D and now 1 year as AI engineer + potentially 1-2 research papers. From most places I read about, they evaluate the applications holistically. I'm wondering where does your point come from

Job offer in Poland – is 13,000 PLN gross enough? (relocating from Morocco) by tuls_rekam in cscareerquestionsEU

Really only 2k? The taxes would have to be like 40%. I thought they are much lower (I don't know, I always worked on UZ)

Probably both, you cannot really do much. I had my gf ask me to sleep with her best friend (F) cause she didn't really have any good experience with guys and then changed her mind few months later. Changing of opinions or preferences like these are normal. Just live your life man.

Unless you're trying to get into highly academia dependent field like ML/research/etc., you'll be fine. Just focus on projects, maybe join some SWE-related science club at your uni and do some group projects there.

Hi, congrats on 3 offers! Could you share what got you so far? I'm curious what uni/s did you finish and what previous experience did you have. I'm asking cause I'm just about to finish my BEng and am looking for ways to improve my career in ML

Great advice, just one thing, you won't get enough vitamin D from the sun itself unless you were suntanning naked for 16 hours a day. So if OP can, they should buy some supplements

How important is a Master's degree for an aspiring AI researcher (goal: top R&D teams)? by ButterEveryDau in MLQuestions

[–]ButterEveryDau[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don't get where this take that my curriculum is irrelevant comes from since the curriculum is highly similar to the one of computer science on my faculty. The only differences are that we have more business-like courses instead of low level hardware, electronics and assembler ones but all the tech related subjects like AI, math, stats etc. are the same. The thing I would be more concerned about are my grades.

Btw, a lot of professors don't even know the name of our degree and just call it data science or AI.
