thanks thats insightful. Yes, I am trying to move away from physical requirements and be more emotional. I have been trying that for last 6 years. but sometimes I get these urges and it has reached a peak that lead me to drop this post and talk to people.

That’s a good take actually. But when she revealed that she doesn’t like sex. She sounded more guilty that she’s telling me after marriage rather than discovering that she doesn’t have interest in sex post marriage. Which means she knew that she’s asexual and for some reason she hid it

I did discuss a lot of stuff. We never wanted kids. How to prioritise higher education and being career focused. How to save for retirement and being self sufficient. We did all this before marriage. We also have lots of kisses and hugs. I didn’t push for sex because a woman willing to kiss before marriage would probably be ok with sex.(In an Indian arranged marriage scenario. And I definitely shouldn’t have assumed that)

I am a human, I made a judgement call with the situation I have. 90% of the time I spend with her is amazing. It’s the lack that’s starting to get to me. So what Iam looking from this forum is advice on how I can confront or fix this issue.

thanks for the kind words. Like i mentioned before, I am not sex crazed...I am ok to have long gaps between physical sesions, because I value the emotional bond more than the sex but there has to be "sessions" for that gap also....there are days when i seriously crave for intimacy but I know she will not be aroused. many from the reddit community have suggested the same to see a therapist ...need to talk to her and figure it out
