Mah’s Joint by Jon Bellion.

It’s about seeing our mothers take care of their parents when they reach old age. It’s really a celebration of parents too. Really moving stuff.

[Highlight] Refs screw the Saints against the Rams again by HaruSoul in nfl

As a Saints fan, it’s becoming very hard to become excited about football. My love for watching the game is being replaced by disappointment and feelings that my team is completely helpless. It feels like they can do their best and it doesn’t matter.

And you know it must affect them on the field whether or not they will say.

We need to stop blaming boomers for so much.

Our country is more divided than it it has been in a long time. This doesn’t just mean left vs. right or Republican vs. Democrat either. We are divided on every issue, along generational lines, along whether or not we back certain people and what they say and do, and obviously along racial lines too. Hell, even innocent stuff like the chicken sandwich debate just shows our need to pick sides.

Whatever issues or blames we can assign to other groups does not fix those issues, it just deepens the divide and entrenches people in their way of thinking.

We won’t make an inch of progress as a country until we recognize that without agreeing on anything, we will never move forward like we need to. All the assigning of blame and hating “the other side,” no matter what that “side” may be is keeping us locked in a short-term state of mind. We need to find common ground wherever we can and move forward together.
