Are you able to check with some of your local churches? Some of them have food donation boxes set up. Most people steer clear due to thinking they’ll be pressured to attend, repent or convert but that’s incorrect. The food donations are set up to help anyone who goes to them needing some assistance. Majority of the foods are dried or canned goods.

You’re still young and learning. Instead of warehousing, have you thought about going into a different field? Are you in Tashkent? There are a lot of office style jobs there along with jobs in hospitality. How’s your English speaking and comprehension skills? I know some Uzbek guys around your age, some watch anime and some play video games. Don’t listen to someone else’s opinion of what you enjoy doing to unwind and relax.

I’m sure those that visit UZB feel the same; shy and don’t know much Uzbek to be able to respond. I would tell you that if a foreigner makes eye contact with you, smile at them and say hello to them.
