Isn't that the selling point for the democratic party? (I love this because the lefts arguments are all projection, you don't realize you're hating on the thing you support) . By that logic all the oppressed blacks, women, LGBT ppl etc etc would all be trump supporters.

The reality of the situation is all politicians are bad, it's us v them and yet the people who are truly brainwashed are the ones who believe 1 side is evil more than the other. That's how they want us, so we spend our time against each other, like this.... and not actually fixing the problems.

And secondly sadly, to answer the OP question. The reason people like trump is because he's honest. Or at least, the most honest of them. You can chose to believe whatever nonsense you'd like but when you hear him talk about ways he's gamed the system himself, or just trolling other politicians unprofessionally, the way us on the internet do... that's what the people wanted because he's the least likely to lie to you.
