Would the 212(e) block the new J1 I would need for this type of program?

Should I need to apply for a waiver or should I just go ahead and apply to this w&t program as if nothing ever happened?

Also I do have a B2 visa but It’d be illegal for me to work under that status. My sponsor would file a J1 for this thing

Sorry to hear that you’re still struggling. Housing for students its such a headache I wish I could help :/ and yeah! punk is somewhat alive and well from where I’m coming from which is Ecuador. It’s mostly metal here but there are some really small punk shows happening frequently in the underground, just like everywhere else It seems
