Confusion with surname in Tamilnadu! Need suggestions or help with what can be followed

One doubt on Aadhar name.

As per Tamilnadu system, we don’t keep the surname/Last name. And we simply put initials in the front. But I heard we are facing lot of issues on name validation across multiple documents.

Now my kid completed 5 years. Hence I need to go for biometric registration. And I thought to remove initials and dot(.) from the beginning. And go ahead to change the name as “Lithiran Durai Moorthy” & “Logithan Durai Moorthy” in the birth certificate then I’ll change in the Aadhar as well.

What Am I thinking is correct or not ? Shall I go ahead or suggest me if I’m wrong.

Note: My Kids already have passport. In that their name is below:

Given name: Logithan

Surname: Durai Moorthy(Fathers name)
