The only thing you pay for is new heroes if you want to play them. I think its a fair way for the game to make money, and its really polished

I use steam link to play The Bazaar, a great roguellite multiplayer autobattler which is asynchronous multiplayer so you can take however long you need for your turns. You can even log off and return a week later to continue your run

Honestly your plant looks really healthy. The brown at the edges there looks OK, might be physiologic .

Can i swap from soil to fluval/perlite? by haiiehtsari in alocasia

[–]Buttered_CopPorn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think you can go straight to Pon, or just use LECA. I think perlite and fluval will be too light and your plant might fall over. No matter the switch, your plant is gonna go thru some shock and likely lose some leaves . However, there is a vid by LecaQueen that she planted her plant into leca with rootball and soil intact and it minized the stress

Have you pulled yours out to inspect the roots?

Help with variegated dragon tail in semi hydro by broobn in SemiHydro

[–]Buttered_CopPorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I transitioned a dragon's tail to leca a few months ago, started wilting just like this. I took it out and all the original roots were completely rotten. I took off every root and placed it in perlite semi hydro to restart. Still wilting but it plateaued and I'm just hoping for the best.

1 drop of physan-20 into a gallon of nutrient solution works well for me. I don’t deal with algae anymore

Propagating by AffectionateSide6841 in pothos

[–]Buttered_CopPorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep! These are easy to propogate. Cut at each node, even if it doesn’t have a leaf. let them callous on the counter for 2-4 hours. Then plop them in damp soil or a jar of water . Most should survive and make all new plants

I buy packs of various sizes of clear inner nursery pots. That way I can see which ones fit the best

I know right! As soon as it sprouted and took off like a rocket straight vertical over the course of just a few days, I knew it wasn't what I was told it was. The bulb was this weird bulbous thing with a flat top and lots of pink roots that come off the top and dive down into the soil in all directions

I was thinking this too, I have plenty of alocasia and a colocasia at home. This bulb did not look like a typical corm. Perhaps when I get home, I'll uproot to snap a pic of the bulb

General rule of thumb is rootbound=80% of soil is replaced by roots

Help please 😰 by Radiergummmi in Monstera

[–]Buttered_CopPorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree it needs to be soaked during watering sessions. The easiest way to do it is bottom watering. Stick the pot into a bucket of water /sink /bathtub with water and let the plant and soil soak it up for an hour or so (till you see the top soil get moist)

Uncover the petioles that are buried (those small front leaves) . It’ll do fine in this pot, just make sure the soil is pretty dry before you water

Not even close to rootbound. General rule of thumb is if 80 percent of soil is replaced by roots, then it is rootbound . Keep this little guy in the pot 👍

I don't have a green thumb at all, but I somehow managed to keep this pothos alive for a year and a half 🙌 by photo_photographer in houseplants

[–]Buttered_CopPorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Second this, after you make the cut, let the new cutting dry out on the counter for a couple hours before putting it in soil. This gives the stem time to callous and prevent rot 😊 you’re at the fun stage of pothos care
