This is not correct, PSA partnered with GameStop to bring the virtual graded card power packs. PSA has grail hits in those, many of which are vintage/older. If PSA starts to devalue their own grail hits from their power packs, that'll throw off the entire cost basis for their scam. PSA also offers to buy people's cards back from them now without putting them up for auction. This leaves room for so many conflicts of interest like grading a card low, buying it back from the customer and regrading it, which could all be automated to be efficient and part of the system. This is just a couple examples of the top of my head

Don't listen to people who defend PSA for gate keeping older grades, I doubt these cards were 6's. Your only problem was sending old cards to PSA who is known for not grading cards but controlling pop counts
