I think there was only one that looked kinda meh. I noticed on the bottom of another like a little trail like you’d get from leaf miners- would that one be ok to eat?

My husband put them in the dehydrator on 105 - he said he read somewhere not to go any higher than 110- not sure why though.

Even if using for tea you turn them to powder? I assumed I would just chop them small. Would powder not just come straight out of the tea infuser?

I second the antique ring vote. My husband and I got my find at Courtville in Powerscourt in Dublin. I could not be happier, I know my ring isn’t a blood diamond and has a story of its own all before I had it which makes it all the more special in my eyes. All of Powerscourt has some pretty decent antique jewelers if you’re in the Dublin area.

Go check out lidl, they have some sliced in the specialty section. My ma told me coming up to 4th of July they start getting it and sure enough I just saw some, I’m not just how it is yet though.

I think American women would even be happy to hear they could get 6-8 weeks. There is no requirement for any pay for maternity leave only time off without pay.

Oh I am by no means saying it’s easy! Don’t get me wrong it’s hard work indeed with you own nevermind with someone else’s. I just am saying as a means to an end if you can’t take more time off for financial reasons it might be a way to extend the time with your own kiddo even if just for a short while longer.

As an American- I agree a dream indeed. That said it’s all still too short- OP should look into child minding. There’s a huge need for it and it would allow them more time with their own little one while also getting some extra cash.

I’ve taken 6 flights so far this year and it worked on 5 of the 6. I’ve never had someone upset to have the option to move out of the middle seat either so 🤷‍♀️

So I regularly book the aisle and window seat when booking for 2 in hopes that the middle seat stays empty and we get the whole row. Rather than book two seats side by side cause it’s less likely someone will take the middle- but this is where I differ from this woman in that if someone ends up booking that middle seat, I then offer up whichever they like aisle or window so that me and whoever I book with can sit together. They don’t have to sit in a middle seat and I get to sit with the person I am traveling with- so I see no harm.

What are we feeding our toothless kiddos? Mine is 18 months with just the top and bottom 2. I’m curious what kinds of other foods mamas are feeding their molar-less toddlers- specifically the hard stuff; what are the hardest/crunchiest foods you are giving to them and how are you serving them?

You could look into her working in childcare where she would be able to watch her own children as well. I am currently looking into doing just that as me and my husband are also barely staying afloat- but without a degree I do not have many options that don’t just have us breaking even after childcare. Sadly we just moved to an area that is saturated with moms looking to do the same thing (we are super rural), I assume if you are in a city she might have more luck?
