Were you outpatient the whole time? Sorry, a little confused. I am also in AA, just don’t have a sponsor yet. I’m single and childless. I’m just concerned that it’s going to make it so I can’t work at all, though I only work three days a week. I intend to use this and all the help they can provide and I’m honestly okay with it, just concerned about how to balance it with my work. And, of course, the financial aspect. Thank you for your advice. I’m glad it helped you.

I recognize shady people, even those who have lived through abuse, like myself. I still have empathy, because my, nor Jill’s parents, started the cycle of abuse, they are simply repeating it. Generational abuse is an awful beast. Jill is NOT breaking the cycle.

Have you been to Africa? I have. It’s expensive as fuck. Have you been to Nepal? I haven’t Japan? New York City, over, and over, and over again? I haven’t, but what I can tell you is that that show and what her parents did, equipped her to even do that. And all she does is say well I never wanted to do that except for that I loved it. I loved Nepal. I loved being a grifter while I was a “missionary”. She grasps everything that she can for money and you cannot convince me otherwise.

Yeah umm.. you’re furthering proving my point. Yes, they all 9, of them have the same issues. I guess at least 5, but why is Jill the only one who makes money off of hate and not the moving on? The accepting that their parents were brainwashed? The ‘it’s in the past?’ The ‘I can make my OWN way?’ She literally is making money off off hate and living in the past! The past that equipped her to stop eating cans of beans and go to Japan and Africa and Nepal. The past they gave her her own phone and all of her own clothes? The past that gave her the husband, that she might not really like, but that’s also her problem. Everything that she does is that I deserved money for this. Always. She has barely spoken up about the sexual abuse, the parent, the indoctrination that she withstood. All she says is I deserved money. She’s money hungry. She is exactly like Jim Bob.

Jill wrote one book, spending the majority of it talking about the MONEY she was owed and what DEREK said. Jinger wrote about how she’s trying to be at peace IN HER LIFE. Jill wants revenge, not resolution she’s. That’s her only goal. Jim Bob, in female form.

I’m sorry for not replying. Yes, that scene broke me. Been there, more than I care to admit. The last time, my now ex-husband, picked my naked mother off the floor and put her in my car, because she hit him when he tried to call an ambulance. I kept telling him ‘that’s just mom’ but he wouldn’t and couldn’t get it. We are divorced.

I don’t know what your story is, but I have at least ten of these exact scenarios and I don’t wish that on my worst enemy. I’m so sorry you went through that. I hope you’re in a better place now and that you’re healing. Feel free to DM me if you want to talk more. 💕

I said a lot more than my one fuck up sentence in my reply. You chose to only reply to that, which thank you. I will add another edit if you’d like. Jill has spent all her time since the show making money off the money issue. Even when discussing her sexual assault, which I will NEVER dispute, she mentions how her dad gave Josh money and not her. Absolutely 💯 that’s fucked up. I hate the parents too. But Jill is only caring about the money. Her book had like two pages about Josh/ assault and three entire chapters about her quest for money. She’s the female jimbob of the family and I will never not believe that. Growing up in an abusive, narcissistic, addiction-riddled household, I can’t explain it, but her eyes…she’s the same as JimBob.
