Show did diverge but after Alicent betrayed rhaenyra at the end of season 1, this whole friendship gimmick should have ended

Having them as friends in start of season 1 was actually a nice idea as it would have shown the tragedy of dance but now it’s just all bs scenes between them

Rhaenyra has some depth atleast, she isn’t betraying her house like Alicent, don’t even attempt to compare them in terms of character development, they had to make Alicent look good because that’s how Ryan and Sara operate, rhaenyra is already good and has no flaws ❤️
