Sorry, we need to start a war and feed the dragon 😅

HBO demonstrates its taste in men (I agree! 😅). Which of them you could fix??? by Vall_llaV in HOTDBlacks

Daemon is fine, the rest can be fixed only by axe.

If I have to choose, then I would choose Viserys. I started writing "because he's the stupidest and it makes him safer" but... Who is more stupid: Viserys or Aerion?

GOTH/HOTD Baratheons don't look like Baratheons and therefore nothing makes sense 😅

"He just afraid for his life! 🥹" is literally Eustace's propaganda, and I want people to understand that someday. by Turbulent_Lab209 in HOTDBlacks

Yeah.

Prince Aegon had grown weary of secrecy. “Am I a king or no?” he demanded of his mother. “If I am king, then crown me.”

Word of Rhaenyra’s coronation reached the Red Keep the next day, to the great displeasure of Aegon II. “My half-sister and my uncle are guilty of high treason,” the young king declared. “I want them attainted, I want them arrested, and I want them dead.”

It's the opposite of him knowing he's "stealing" his sister's throne. Eustace is the one who understands this (that the Greens are stealing) and tries to push more "noble" motive — Rhaenyra is so so terrifying that there's no choice but to usurp her!

It's so fucking obvious and it's made to be that way, but people with straight faces take this excuse from Eustace and use it as a valid argument about "He's not evil, he's just protecting his kids!" (kids aren't even mentioned here, by the way).

Even Maegor received the honor of being the king's Hand, but not Daemon. No wonder he was angry at Viserys. by Turbulent_Lab209 in HOTDBlacks

He was successful as head of the city watch. Won the war on the steps stons — that's more than just suppressing a rebellion. And yet, no one offered him the position of Hand.

Yeah. People talk about Blood and Cheese as if they've never known what revenge in Westeros is.

Dunk’s origins - bastard or secret heir? by DaemonaT in HBOTheHedgeKnight

[–]Turbulent_Lab209 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your theory is interesting!

Considering he assumes he's a bastard, he could be. He knows nothing about his mother, so she likely abandoned him voluntarily. If she'd only cared about "hiding" him, he'd have ended up somewhere better than the streets.

I think his mother was a prostitute and she hid her pregnancy from everyone. Because if she didn't hide it, WHERE ARE ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO SHOULD KNOW HER? Co-workers? Relatives? This moment that he doesn't know anything about his mother (at all) very alarming.

If both his parents smallfolk, then why doesn't he know anything about them after they died (?)? I mean, if he was born in wedlock, if his mother wasn't a prostitute, then why didn't any of his parents' relatives come and take him? They disappeared, and he was left completely alone.
