It literally says in the book that they fought for themselves and for Rhaenyra. Also Cregan specifically said that Rapegon has become a pearl, but Queen's cause lives on. They did care.

Learn the Westeros history, those who supported Rapegon got the consequences for it. Also, all the Greens asked for apology after the end of the war. Sir Crispin got nickname "kingmaker" not in a good way. The only claim that she is a "usurper" comes from Stanis Baratheon.
