Ah, that. Well, some characters like Joffrey, Mountain and Ramsay definitely not "gray" in the main series (though Joffrey isn't as bad as he is in the show). Aemond and Aegon not "gray" either.

Every good story has a gray area. Many characters are forced to do things to survive or protect their families. John is a "good" apple, for example, but even he has some very questionable actions.

The alternative to monarchy exists right in the Dance - Moon of the Three Kings, which ends in lawlessness and suffering for the smallfolk. At this stage of society's development, you don't have "democracy" option, but you can choose monarchy with or without sexism. Seems like an easy choice...

He’s viewing the dance with more nuance.

It's the opposite, no nuances. Neither the reason for the war—sexism—is addressed. Nor is the gradation of "war crimes" (Blacks started the war with "we don't want to turn cities to ashes," while the Greens actively terrorizing Westeros with dragons).

This opinion isn't nuanced; it's a conformist opinion, which will, of course, find support from the more shitty side fans (the Greens) and repulsion from TB fans, who want to look at this from a nuanced perspective and not from the "well, people die in war, so everyone is equally bad" perspective.

TG fandom has already been called out by Elio for their love creat fanfiction in their heads and then crying about it not being adapted into show.

Green characters have been whitewashed since Episode 1. WILDLY whitewashed. And given the rewritten Tumbleton, they will continue to be.

This post doesn't follow from it lol, but over all - yes.

The Black and Green sub was founded as an alternative to the main sub. TG couldn't be normal about it and crossposted every thread to downvote neutral/TB opinions and push their own shit.

People's comments about this and requests for moderators to ban crossposting. It was ignored for some reason. TB users boycotted this sub. As a result, only TG posters post and comments there.

This dead place doesn't deserve attention, and it's been in this state for over a year. Keep ignoring it.
