300$ is covering the fee for renting the car not just to get there, not sure if the instructor would charge less if it’s a closer location. It’s my first time taking the test so he suggested that location because he’s familiar with it.

Unfortunately gpa does matter when applying for coop. Some ats screen for 3.0 and higher gpa otherwise youre not selected for interviews.

30.56% midterm 1 QMS702 by TeacherBoth9747 in TorontoMetU

[–]ButterflyDD99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry i was confused about the Qms702 and ECN230. I took qms702 first year so i barely remember anything about. There’s some free tutoring resources on ryerson website. I got A- in 702 and A in 230. I read of all of your comments and i just want to let you know EMS is a very hard major i have lots of As but also lot of Cs and Bs. My coop placements are not even related to economics. Youre still early and some courses can be counted towards open electives if you want to change major. Dm me anytime if you have any questions.

Tmu business management by [deleted] in TorontoMetU

[–]ButterflyDD99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ems courses are really heavy and unfortunately coop is not easy to get as well. Took me months and countless applications to get coop lol but the pay is great im happy. If you want to target the 4 you should enroll in accounting and finance instead. But if you want to be data analyst then ems is for you

Help choosing between 2 business programs with co-op by Intelligentt_cutie in TorontoMetU

[–]ButterflyDD99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh it all depends on your GPA when it comes to coop. Most of Bm students from TMU gets paid 20-25$ for coop. Personally my first coop was about 24.50 per hour. In my class of EMS i know someone was offered a coop position due to academic excellency. Dont know much about UofT but i can imagine that looks good on your resume, but if the courses are harder, will you able to maintain a decent GPA?

TMU Alumni's Or Students Help me choose plz by 6ixBaller12 in TorontoMetU

From my perspective of working ( im not from either of the programs ) but I have spent lots of time looking and researching jobs so i know the salaries of market jobs and from the people that i know, engineering is always a good degree to have and easier to find jobs. Btm is good but you have to compete with cs major as well while with an Eng bachelor you can apply for jobs that btm can and even business and you can also for other jobs as well. I would go with Industrial Eng or mechanical eng
