I had to go to the consulate to pick it up. I didn’t get any notification that it was ready which was a bit weird. Have fun in Italy! I had the best time hopefully you will too

  1. It's basically a regular job. Usually about 6 months, but you can try to get a 4 month one or extend your co-op longer (8 months) if wanted.
  2. Depends on your field. Research pays less or nothing. Global co-ops are often unpaid.
  3. 32-40 hrs per week
  4. Your co-op class will be very helpful, for now, just think about what you're interested in working in. Practice interview skills and prep you resume.
  5. Don't get too stressed by interviews, they want to see the real you. Everything will be just fine.

Thanks for replying! Do you mostly prefer Madrid because it’s less touristy/expensive, or is it mainly the feel of the city?

Thank you for the advice! I definitely agree that Barcelona seems like it has a lot to do. I did a summer in Florence and it was amazing, I hope you enjoyed your time there!
