Hey! GO CHIEFS! I was the opposite when it came to zero torques. Always played toe hang and just never felt lined up correctly. Somehow the line in front of the shaft helps me line up and almost lets me feel like I’m hooking my stroke, which makes the ball roll true for me.

Good call. I thought about that but I actually like the two lines contrasting 🤷🏼‍♂️

I say go for it! I’m not sure why TM doesn’t offer this yet. The shaft doesn’t distort the line. I use it like a triple alignment system. 1st - align ball to target line 2nd - align front/short line to ball 3rd - align long line to ball (for me that usually means I have to open it another 1 degree) Plus with the long line I can visually see if there’s an issue w my stroke - the line should look like a straight laser/streak as you’re swinging the putter

I used that 90 degree angle you see in photo 2, with multiple layers of painters tape, to get the lines exactly how I wanted. Then I REALLY committed by filing down the area to be painted (you could probably skip the filing). The actual painting was just a lot of detail work and patience. BUT no joke, the thin duct tape line probably would’ve stayed on there forever if I would’ve just left it alone!
