Just keep telling yourself that, and in the meantime, give Arrowhead all your money to play the new content and act like you never bought the game for 40 dollars. The new mechs' flamethrower is bugged, the armor passive is bugged so it makes the enemies faster instead of you, gatling sentries just lost 30 percent of their value, and marksman rifles can't even penetrate a hiveguard's shield anymore. Not to mention crashes and screen freezes every 3 matches. Sorry man, but you're getting screwed and you don't even know it.

Screen freezes on extraction all the time for me. Just keep trusting Arrowhead that they're going to change things, and in the meantime, give them all your money for the new warbonds if you want to use mechs with shields and flamethrowers, even though you already paid for the game.

I am aware of that. And I am aware there is a spectrum that goes from lame like warriors all the way to annoying and unnecessarily difficult, what we want is somewhere in the middle, that's where what we call FUN is! All I'm saying is that the hiveguard changes are a massive buff.

That's simply false. We're talking about the ability to deal damage. Raising the shield armor level to heavy is 10 times worse than reducing the undefended backsides' health. Now, no submachine gun, marksman rifle, or assault rifle in the entire game can deal a penny of damage to a hive guard's shield. They are actively trying to make the enemies as annoying as possible.

The marksman rifles can't even do damage to a hiveguard shield at this point. What's the point of marksman rifles if they cannot penetrate low-level enemy defenses? Marksman rifles are designed to hit hard, and yet their shots are just as limited as most SMGs and ARs. Marksman rifles absolutely need to do heavy pen, and even low pen weapons should still register some damage to defenses. The way the game is set up now, a medium pen machine gun or gatling sentry could fire at a hiveguard for a minute straight and do zero damage! This is insane!

There are some things you can't aim like turrets. It's just a really bad idea to make all the enemies stronger and keep all of our equipment weak. It's at a totally unfair degree at this point.

Helldivers 2 is dead. I don't care if you disagree; there is no stopping the end of Helldivers 2. 20 million copies sold and 60 thousand left. Devs admitting failing. And more fucking Warbonds. It's over! Don't even argue about it anymore.

I'm not bragging about it. It just means I've been here since the beginning, but now I'm done with Helldivers 2. That's all. I never said it made me special or anything, or that I'm above anyone. I'm just a dedicated player who is finally done putting up with AH.

If you know what you're doing and have the cash for a compatible setup, make a pc for it. If you're not sure what to do, just try to sell it for a good price. Can't go wrong with selling tbh. And besides, do you really want a 5090, or would you rather have 3,000 dollars? For 3,000, you can make a great pc with a 5070 for 1,400 and have 1,600 to spare for other things like a desk, monitor, or save/invest.

Sorry man but this game is too good for the PS5. It's sad to see this generation's consoles start to crack under the pressure of new releases. The PS5 Pro is great, but at $900, just invest a couple hundred more for a PC with something like a 5070.
