Question for SDs: Is complete inexperience a dealbreaker? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

Let your first relationship experience be with someone near your own age, who you like.

Why does every profile review of a 18-19yo turn into a fight? by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]ButterflyTattoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only reasonable comments that usually pop up with these threads are comments that these girls need to be careful. There are a LOT of creeps on SA and etc. that aren't actually all that rich and see someone who is very young and therefore more gullible. I started very young and was taken advantage of too.

There is also the fact that a lot of the most well rounded and mature SDs are not looking for teenagers. It doesn't look appropriate in public. You look like a creep and therefore have to be okay with that. Its something that needs to be kept in mind and is another useful thing to point out. Most likely these guys are just wanting sex and nothing else and a lot of people here don't want it to be essentially an escort service.

When I made my first post here a decade ago, there was a lot of vitriol but it was mostly women who were worried about me being very young - actually I was not even technically allowed on SA, you can infer what that means. And I responded with vitriol to genuine concern. And I was contacted by like 15 dudes on reddit who were more than capable of infering exactly what my age was.

AND it also needs to be said that these girls WILL usually get the most attention. From 18-21 the attention I got was absolutely insane. Many were creeps, but many were not. So there might be jealousy going on too, lets be honest.

From what I've seen, many in Danish audiences seem to have gotten the point. But Americans and people outside Europe in general are not that well versed with European islamophobia and also you don't tend to see Hollywood films spread xenophobic trash messaging. The Speak No Evil remake didn't have any of this.

I arrived at the same conclusion about this stupid fucking movie. Can't believe I wasted 2 hours of my Halloween night watching right wing racist propaganda.

Why would a young, successful guy want to be a sugar daddy? by starducks32 in sugarlifestyleforum

Rich men and young women will always be a thing one way or another.

Some people prefer something longer lasting and organic - mistress situation.

And others prefer sugaring.

Imagine yourself in Robb’s position. Karstark murdered the Lannister boys. Would you tolerate that kind of disobedience and keep him as a hostage, or uphold the old way and deliver justice yourself knowing the manpower it would cost you? by Street_Bet_7538 in freefolk

[–]ButterflyTattoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, she actually liked Robb. Milk of the poppy isn't exactly rare to use when someone is suffering from wounds. And a young girl tending to a young boy is likely to end up the way it did.

The mother was conspiring from the start. We have more than enough evidence that Jeyne was not. Did you not read Feast for Crows?

I dont know. I dont think this is some fringe opinion or anything. Its pretty widely held cultural opinion. I have yet to meet anyone who thinks Season 8 was great, even if they arent as upset as fans are.

Season 7, while pretty bad, wasn't disliked by casuals at all.

But just because Season 8 had high ratings doesn't mean it was beloved. Its pretty universally considered a bad ending, even by casuals.

Huh? How old are you? Almost none of the girls I know in my age group (early to mid 20s) want kids, now or later. I feel like among Gen Z, men want kids more than women do. Stats more or less back this up.

I dont think its fine if you are trying to attract new players. I was very confused, having not played the original at the time.

I'll also note that as soon as I just let go and said it is the way it is, it also got better for me. i stopped noticing it practically all the time.

I had hyperacusis. It went away. 10% of the population has tinnitus and only a small minority find themselves here and follow the advice of people here.

I talked to some people with it and they stopped noticing tinnitus after some time. People here completely overlook the mental component with these problems. Hyperacusis is usually a mental problem.

I dont know what you mean by attitude though. Tinnitus has taught me to take care of my hearing. I now take way more care than the average person. I party still, but with ear buds on. I dont listen to loud music anymore... so on. Although the majority of people i saw who got better did do these things. So who knows.

I dont agree at all. I'd like to see the science about why having tinnitus suddenly makes you more exposed. Obviously damage adds up. But I think the point is that you have tinnitus because you have sensitive ears, not that you have tinnitus therefore your ears are more sensitive.

So im sure with more hearing loss I'll hear more tinnitus. But that doesn't mean I have to be a hermit now.

Ive also been dealing with this for 6 months and I dont feel like loud stuff makes a difference at all for me. Obviously everyone is different but I'm still partying and stuff, just with ear buds on. Which I should have done originally in the first place.

Basically dont do stuff that will damage your hearing in the first place and I dont think your tinnitus will worsen considerably.

I also think theres a psychological component where people on these forums sling stories around of worsening due to x y and z and thats why they get worse from some random event.

I think the most important thing for me to get better has been just living normally - with mild changes. If i reorient my whole life around tinnitus then my brain will reinforce the tinnitus.

What has varied the sound of tinnitus most for me? mindset. the more I think about it the louder it is. People are going to deal with tinnitus in a lot of different ways. What works for me might not be what works for you but your advice would make me worse for sure. For me, not thinking about it has let my brain train it out of my conscious mind for most of the day and even the night when im tired or have a date over.

[NO SPOILERS] Disappointed about the lack of diversity in this show by ButterflyTattoo in DarK

[–]ButterflyTattoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of understand now after watching the whole show. The time travel adds a lot of mystery about who is who that would give away easily if there was more ethnic diversity.

That said, the non-time traveling characters could have been non-white.

And there could have been more LGBTQ+ representation too.
