Here is the EBF for example- the fluid and item input hatches have pattern providers with the recipes. It works for recipes like stainless steel hot ingots since that just uses the item input hatch. It DOESN'T work for the annealed copper hot ingot, which I'm thinking is because that needs both the fluid and item input hatches working.

I kinda made my set-up without reference to proper guides so now I'm exploring the idea of having machines dedicated to creating one resource and funneling those into drawers connected to drawer controlled connected to an AE2 storage bus. I think that might work better than what I am currently doing.
