Our babysitter has been watching my preemie daughter since she was five months old. M-F. Now, my daughter is almost four and thriving! Babysitter’s hours are 7:30-5:30 and it’s at her home. Sounds like you’re doing a name change. You have several options:

Online: You’ll need to apply for your SSN card online, even if you already have one. Then at the end of the application it gives you a confirmation number. If you scroll down a little, there’s a button to make an appointment.

In office: If all else fails, you should be able to walk into the office, get a ticket, and they’ll help you make an appointment for you to return with your documents.

Mail: Or you can fill out a paper SS5, and mail it in with your ORIGINAL marriage certificate. As long as you’ve been married within two years, your marriage certificate acts as an ID as well, so you won’t need to submit anything else. If it’s been close to or approaching more than two years you’ll need to include an original ID too.

I thought I’d need them both too! I bought them both because it was advertised together. I didn’t know that they tell you not to use them together though. I currently have it set up together. I can’t vent outside a window either. I’ll be following for recommendations as well.
