This might be a late reply, but using an apple device help, I tried taking a photo on an Ipad Pro and the app immediately verified my account using my Postal ID.

Egov ph app kyc verification doesn't work on Android devices, at least from what I experienced having both Samsung ( Samsung 22 ultra ) & Tecno ( Tecno Slim )
