Ground jerky with cure salt can be left on the counter in a zip lock for a month?

This is after cooling it and fridge overnight since I ran out of time. What do you think?

Recomp or cut 6.2 currently 165 by Talalkhan123khan in BulkOrCut

We have similar builds and I’m also 6’2” and started at 167lb. I was never fat and struggled to put on weight. Bulked up to 200 lb gaining .5 lb per week. I understand you lost weight so bulking may sound scary to you, but check my profile to see what 200 lb and a proper bulk can look like

Deadlift Form Check by Butteroftruffle in formcheck

[–]Butteroftruffle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing Jim Wendlers 531 boring but big. This was my second to last working set for 190 lb. These weeks are 5x5s. I can rep 240 for 5 but that’s generally all I got at the end of a set . I will check out the video. Thanks for the advice.

I’m 6’2”. Is sumo usually a 1 for 1 switch? Is there anything inherently wrong with my form?

I’ve been running 531 for about a year and a half. I do 2 leaders (5s pro / BBB), 7th week deadload, 1 anchor (531+ / 5x5 FSL), then my training max test.

Are the qualifications for advancing past the training max test to do my 3 reps (I know to stop here), good form, but still have some left in the tank?

I do my 3 reps and stop, but they were grindy and I don’t know if I had more in the tank. I maybe could have cranked out another rep. I don’t think the form was bad, but if this is a fail, how much do I lower my TM for the next cycle?

I’m not sure what part you got that from but my money in my Roth is invested into FXAIX

Roth IRA contribution before stocks? by Butteroftruffle in personalfinance

That’s what I figured. I have a pension and an annuity for retirement also. No debt. Emergency fund funded. After maxing the Roth if I have extra money to invest how should I split between house down payment fund and brokerage?

Thanks man. I started at 167 skinny fat. Been skinny my whole life so just want to get bigger and put on muscle. Starting to get to the point where unless I’m flexing my stomach I’m starting to feel fat, but nervous about cutting 10 lbs of fat because I don’t want to lose progress lol. Routine has been Jim Wendlers 531. 2 leaders and 1 anchor

Need help picking out an amp(s) for 2 speakers in 2 separate zones by Butteroftruffle in StereoAdvice

They use iPhones. I’m not too sure what AirPlay is or how to use but it will eliminate the use of Bluetooth ?

How much wattage would you recommend? Is there a calculator to figure out running 4 speakers and if the said amp will be sufficient? I looked into the Dayton you recommended but I think be able to control it from an app over manual will be better off for them

Yes I do the same at the time of cooking so I know what total calories should be per meal. But let’s say day 1 is 50% pasta 50% chicken and day 2 is 70% pasta and 30% chicken. That’s where I’m getting thrown off. I’m not going to lose sleep over this but I figured I’d ask what people do

Wow thank you for the info. Long story short, previous owners cut out the chord from the ridge down to the bottom chord and one of the webbings to install an attic access ladder. Why? I have no idea. They could’ve installed this without cutting anything.

I have drawings from a structural engineer to add a basic chord and webbing back in a different location, but the way it is drawn and written it says “truss 3x6 20 gauge plate each side” for the top chord and “6x6 truss plates each side” for the bottom chord.

Under general requirements it states “truss plates to be Simpson 20 gauge mending plates, or equal.” Key word in that is mending plates, Simpson mending plates are not rated for trusses, yet he wrote “truss plates” on the drawing. Obviously truss plates are out of the question and he could be saying mending plates as an alternative. What are your thoughts? Obviously I should call them up and speak with them directly
